Luggage storage at either Port Canaveral or Kennedy Space Center?

We would like to visit the Kennedy Space Center the day we disembark but we are not sure what to do with our luggage. We plan to Uber back to Orlando or have my FIL (who lives in Orlando) pick us up. Is there any place to store luggage and if so, how much?

I am unaware of any luggage storage at the port or KSC. We have always had a rental car when we had this travel plan to keep our stuff. Perhaps another member will chime in with a place I am unaware of. Enjoy your cruise!

I’ve never been to KSC, so no clue there.

But since other passengers are embarking the day you disembark, there is absolutely no space for storage at the port.

We had a rental car and our stuff inside through the day. But if your FIL lives in Orlando and is willing to pick up your stuff (and you?), then go that route.

We had this same question this past summer. There is nothing that we could find - so we rented a car for the day.

In the past, some people have reported that if you use Cocoa Beach shuttle for transportation, they will store luggage. I do not know if this is still true, but it does not cost anything to ask. https://cbshuttle.com/

He is willing to pick us up at the end of the day and bring us back to his house, but we weren’t going to have him bring us from the cruise ship to KSC (it seems like a lot to ask). But if there aren’t other good options, we may...

Any chance he'd pick you up and join you at KSC? That might be a nice visit.

He could meet you grab your luggage and drop you off at KSC. Then uber back to his place after KSC. Unless of course he joins you at KSC

We plan to ask he and my MIL to join us, but we wouldn’t all fit in their Honda Civic so we would have to Uber back if they join us anyway. We could store luggage in their trunk though. My in laws are elderly and usually don’t have the stamina for hours of walking so they may not want to join us.

That’s a good idea! He probably wouldn’t mind helping us facilitate a trip to KSC, especially since it benefits his only grandchildren.

KSC is nothing like WDW for walking. There's the imax movies, the bus tour out to the launch pad and the museum and the space shuttle museum. It might not be a lot of walking for them at all.

I would just rent a car. They’re super cheap (I’ve rented them one-way from port to Orlando several times for $50ish) and then you have flexibility to stop for lunch, sightsee, and not put out your relatives.

You could try orlando baggage storage we have used before but not sure if they pick up bags from the port but I know they delivery to the airport.
