I apologize if this is on a sticky somewhere, but I couldn't find it. DH and I will be sailing on the MouseFest cruise in December. We each have 1 piece of rolling luggage that we carry-on when we fly. Will the luggage have to be given up at the terminal, or will be be able to carry it to our room? I wasn't certain of the size cutoff on what we got to keep and what we had to give to DCL for handling.

If we do have to part with the luggage, can someone please tell me how the process works?

Thanks!

Hi, if it is a carry-on you may keep it with you. Keep in mind however that whatever you keep with you, is with you until the rooms are ready. This is approximately 1:30pm. THis can get quite heavy. You eat lunch with eat, stroll the ship with it. Unless you plan on arriving around the time the rooms are ready, I would check it. Any checked luggage is taken from you outside, with your room tags already on, and it is automatically delivered to your stateroom before 5pm.

If I remember correctly anything you carry on has to fit through the scanner...about the size of the airport scanners...
