Luggage question

If you do that, don't buy a suitcase. Go to the hotel's business center and buy a cardboard box instead. Then pack your clothes in it and have the business center send it home via UPS; it will be WAY cheaper.

We always carry one or two empty duffle bags in our luggage. We have some heavy duty ones that I feel safe checking as baggage. If we collect too much stuff (and we tend to) we're ready. With six of us, we don't ever have two checked bags each.

we nearly always end up at Walmart buying a bag to take all the excess home- you can get a decent big duffle bag for $15. It holds a ton of stuff.

Another vote for packing a duffle ... they're lighter than a small suitcase.

I fill the duffle with dirty clothes and pack our souveniers in my suitcase.

About the lap top, you can have your memory cards downloaded to a cd at Shutters. I'm not sure about the price but think it's around $15. Alot cheaper than buying more memory or a lap top!

We are going to get a new set of luggage (and dump my old stuff from about 10 yrs ago!). Target has a set of 5 pieces, most with wheels and handles, for about $60! This will hold for our family of 4.

2 pieces are smaller, carry on and such, but we'll use those for the toys and such. The rest will work great. Plus, DH travels constantly, so we'll gt more than our fair use of them.

The website shows $109, but they are half that in the stores.
