Luggage check-in at resort without DME

We are taking DME from Orlando airport to POR, but on the way back to the airport after our stay, we will have a rental car, so we won't be using DME.

We would like to check our luggage in at the resort (flying AA) in the morning of our last day and then enjoy our day at the parks without worrying about checking our bags in when we get to the airport. Is this possible?

Another question... I have an AA credit card with one of the benefits of free baggage check. Will this be okay or will I have to pay a fee?

Do they provide your boarding passes and everything or is that done at the airport?

Not sure on The AA baggage fee we fly southwest, but they will print out your boarding passes for you when you give them the bags. And you don't have to be on DME to use the service You do have to have them there before 1:00 PM no matter when your flight is.

WDW resort guests may use Remote Airline Check-in (RAC) regardless of what transportation they use to return to Orlando International Airport (MCO).

Think of RAC is as being just like curbside check-in with a skycap at the airport, except that the RAC skycap handles multiple airlines and is around 20 miles from the airport.

The RAC skycap knows who qualifies for free bags. It's not something you have to worry about. (Many passengers qualify for free bags due to class of service, frequent flyer elite status, or using the airline's credit card.) The RAC skycap also knows who has prepaid their bag fees. And the RAC skycap knows who still needs to pay. That's because the RAC agent sees the same computer record that someone at the airport would see.
