Luggage Arrival?

Our flight will be landing at 7:45 pm on 9/22. Do you think we should expect our luggage to arrive that night? Or the next morning? Im also trying to decide what/how much to pack in our carryon.

Last time I had an 8 pm arrival, the luggage came a little after midnight.

Granted, that night there was a bomb scare at MCO and SW told me it would be at least 90 minutes until they could even get a truck out to unload the luggage. Plus, I hadn't received the yellow DME tags in time so DME would be pulling the bag from the carousel. That being said, I was uber impressed with the four hour turnaround.

But to be on the safe side, I would pack pajamas for the first night and the first day's worth of clothes in the carry-ons. I have a flight that gets in at 11 am and I'll still be doing that.

Our daughter 's (she flew in after we drove in) luggage arrived just about 3 hours after she landed.

Normally I do. Im just thinking in terms of how much to pack for the next day in my carryon.

Last time we arrived after 7:30pm the CM called and gave us the option of midnight (or later) delivery or early am. We went to bed and our luggage was there on time at 7am~!
