I'm feeling very pleased with myself :teeth:

Our 7-night trip in October has been booked for me, DH, both DDs and DD's BF - all of us for 2 nights in WDW, three of us for 3 nights in Vero with DD and BF staying in WDW, then all of us back in WDW for the last 2 nights . I was having trouble fitting everything in the draft parks itinerary! DD has a birthday when we're there, other DD and her BF want to go to Universal, etc., etc. There was a lot of checking in and out of resorts, and it was all looking a bit frantic!

I got thinking that it would all work so much better if we could swap one of the VB nights for another night in WDW, so I checked with the rest of the family and had 'permission' to see what I could get - although none of us held out much hope of getting another night in a 2 bedroom during Food & Wine at this short notice.

I rang MS when they opened today and realised it was the opening time for reservations in the new AKL Kidani Village - I had to wait on hold for ages and altogether I was on the phone for almost an hour, it was so busy!

Anyway, the great news is that I managed to add another night to our WDW time:thumbsup2 I'll be sorry to have to lose a VB night, but I think it's the best solution for this trip and will make it easier for everyone to do what they want to do :cloud9:

...and it means I'll have to do some more planning ;)

Congratulations! Where did you manage to get? Not the new Kidani surely!

LOL, no, I don't think Kidani opens until May. I got VWL :cool1: to add to the 2 nights we already had booked there at the beginning of our trip. I didn't think I'd be able to get VWL because it's a small resort, so I initially asked for OKW to tie in with our last 2 nights of the trip. OKW wasn't available and I was about to go on the waitlist when I thought of asking about VWL - and it was available! :hippie:
