It has been said the Lucky is only at AK until July. Is he there the month of July or July 1 is he gone. Where do you find him. I am going end of June, early July and would love to see him. He looks so cute.

Lucky, who is very cool by the way, is there for the Happiest Celebration. He is Animal Kingdom's addition for the celebration, which goes on until the end of 2006.

We saw Lucky at Chester and Hester's.

When you get to AK, pick up the Times and Guide sheet and it'll state what time Lucky shows up.

He shows up starting in Dinorama area right next to Primeval Whirl. He'll start by the restroom area and walk on the path towards the boneyard then make a left turn towards the Restaurantosaurus area before going back to the Dinorama area.

He'll generally walk with his handlers, and make a few stops and jokes along the way. It's really a cool character.

bytheblood....OHHHH, I hope you are correct! I had read, I think either in Disney Magazine or the DVC newsletter, that Lucky was only going to be there through July or something. We are not going back until December, and my youngest is a Dino NUT!!! I will have to check around and clarify this. I did not want to bring it up to her because I thought we were going to miss it.

It was in one the newsletters that I get that he's at WDW only through July then he goes to DL.

The WDW website says Lucky in only there through July. Fortunately, we are going in July!

Lucky is only at WDW's AK until July 30, 2005 and then he moves on to the next park. The stories start to conflict here....I've been told he's on his way back to DL-CA, and I've been told he's making the rounds of ALL The Disney Parks...i.e. Disneyland Paris, Disney Toyko (sp?) and back to Disneyland in CA.

But even the WDW offical site states that he will only be at AK through July.

Lucky is worth going to see at AK. Amazing! He was 'given' some soda by one of his handlers, he then proceeded to hiccup for a bit, which amused my DS4 no end. He interacted with some of the kids too, who it has to be said, where in complete awe! He really is a very impressive dinosaur, I hope Disney are able to produce some other characters like this.

Oh my, I am so bummed. Our DS4 would LOVE to see him, and sadly when we go in Dec. he will be long gone. Good thing I didn't mention Lucky to him - at least now he won't be disappointed.

Lucky the dino is REALLY cool! I didn't think he would be that big of a deal, and yet I found myself standing stupified with my mouth wide open in between snapping pics. He really is pretty amazing. We just saw him by accident, but we are so glad that we did!

Wow, that is really sad. Oddly, I was there last week and his handler said he would be there for the Happiest Celebration. I guess he was misinformed, so I was too.

My family and I saw lucky after we watched the Tarzan Rocks show. Lucky looked amazing and so realistic. The only thing that made me kind of sad was that no one could touch him because cast members surrounded him from every corner, but other than that Lucky was
