Then, you should definitely go for it!! Don't get me wrong, sharing the magic with others is incredible. You can't beat the feeling. However, there was something amazing about being selfish for a little bit.

Tara - I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed your report. It sounds like you had a lot of fun, and I wish I could try a solo trip again (long story, but I scarred myself for life taking a solo trip about 6 years ago...) and keep thinking about doing so, and then I read all these TR's of people going solo, and it really keeps sounding better and better!
Only thing, my equivalent of your bunny is too big to cart around I think...but he has the same fur characteristics of that cute vacuum guy!

I may do that. I will see how our trip goes in September. If DH gets grumpy and decides to ruin my magic, I forsee many solo trips. I can see him now giving me that "you are crazy" look when I pull out my notepad to make TR notes in the parks...........

The secret is not telling anyone until you're down there!! That's what I did and they totally freaked since that is ssooo not like me to go anywhere by myself!!

Awesome trip report. I leave in 52 hours. Your trip report was just the thing I needed to get me in the mood and excited about the trip. On every other Disney trip I would have already been packed but for this one I am starting tonight.

I went on a solo trip in January 2005. I had a fantastic time. It was nice to do what I wanted when I wanted. I was asleep every night by 10:00 and at the parks when they opened. I took a lot of pictures on my solo trip too, just for other people. It was fun. Thinking of doing 3 solo days in April and after reading your trip report I am convinced it is the thing to do.

Again thank you for the best trip report I have read in a long time!

I can feel your car problem pains! I crashed my car last June and I am going to have to get a new one...I keep putting it off, but I have to do it. The poor thing is 10 years old and has a crumbled hood. Being a Saturn, it still runs great, but it looks like doggy poo-poo!

So...I need to invest in a new car. The whole new car is killing the idea of future trips and DVC. If I just made a few more dollars a year or lived somewhere cheaper, I would be set. Sigh...the never ending Disney vs. Car battle continues!!

Anyway, I feel your pain! Hopefully the car fairies will shine down on you soon...then the Disney magic can happen!
