I have some and was wondering if they can be used at the other parks, other than only at Magic Kingdom. (Even though passes say MK) Anyone had any experiences with this?

1) If they were given to you from Disney, then you already know.
2) If you bought them on ebay, then you don't need to know.

Smart people here, I have 2 from disney, but also am aware that they are on ebay and have seen them there.

We are going to disney for the 1st time with small children so I am just trying to find out this type of info before we go. hey, if it is going to save me time and I have re-entry passes, I surly will use them!:yay:

So where did you get them?

And perhaps you should READ them, they probably tell you what you want to know. (However, my bet is that if they are for MK NO you can't use them anyplace else)

FP abuse is one of the reasons it appears Disney is going to bar coded fast passes. I would expect soon the CM will have a scanner to validate your FP.

I have complained to Disney about FP abuse and I would recommend others do too. If you ever get a LATE fast pass you will see the problem. The line for 'Soarin late in the evening is LONG and why.... all the fast passes being 'redeemed' several hours late as people leave the park.

My mother was at disney last year and recieved these when a ride was shut down after standing in line. She thought maybe they could be used on any ride at either park. I am only asking because I have not been to disney in 10+ years and am just learning about the fastpass system and the different ones out there.

They say "Magic Kingdom Attraction Re-Entry "Valid for one (1) guest at any (1) Magic Kingdom Attraction. Please see a cast memebr for entry instructions. This pass is valid for one use and minimal wait time may be experienced."

That's it.

We will be at epcot on our 1st day so was just curious as to if anyone else has has sucsess using them at another park. :confused3

I suppose you could try. The worst they can do is say no. They are clearly intended for the Magic Kingdom but Disney is known for trying to accomodate guests the best they can. How far they will go to do that, you never know. Have fun on your trip!

Agreed, that would be a drag to be in a line in the evening that is taking even longer since all the earlier in the day fast passes are being used late before the parks closure.

If you are among those who think trying to use a FP "late" (expired, in the same day) will "clog" the FP Return queues...

Here are some FP numbers to play with.

Let's assume a given round number of FP Distributed for Big Thunder Mountain (100 FP's given out).

35 will be used at the beginning (within the first 5 minutes) of the Return Time "window."

40 will be used at some later time, but still within in the specified Return Time "window."

15 will be used outside (later than) the specified Return Time "window."

10 will be pocketed and never used (guests got busy elsewhere, left the park, etc.)

Those not ever using FP and those using FP outside the window (late) can virtually cancel-out each other in the FP waiting-line.

'Jockey' any of those numbers a bit, if you like, but they should be very close.

The FP system works very well, and with proper "policing" by CM's (if the FP lines do get "too long" during a busy run-like Soarin' or EE- they can refuse a "late" FP at that time) the lines move along quite nicely.

It works well mainly because a FP can only used ONE TIME per ticket.

Its not possible to severely clog the FP line using "expired" FP's because once you USE it, its gone.
If you use it INSIDE the window, its gone (can't use it then outside the window).
If you use it OUTSIDE the window, its gone (didn't use it then inside the window).

One person, one FP ride.
So WHEN you choose to use it is largely (mathmatically) unimportant.

Consider this.
The new YoaMD "Dream FP" is a "universal" FP, that is given to selected families and can be used by the holder for one FP ride, per FP attraction, at any time of day.
That doesn't seem to clog the FP line.

Re: the Soarin FP's, it seems to me there is always a wait (excepting of course the first ones to use their FP's for the day). In June this year, we arrived just after opening, obtained a set of FP's for Soarin then rode in the standby line. The standby line at this point took about 30 minutes. We then went to The Seas with Nemo and Turtle Talk and returned to use our Soarin FP between 10:30 and 11:00. We waited in the FP queue for a good 30 minutes. This was on a green day for Epcot so I don't believe crowds were exceptionally large.

So, maybe the late evening FP lines at Soarin are due to "late" users, maybe not. Bottom line is it's a really slow loading ride, FP or no.
