luau recipes needed

Nephew has recently been commissioned in the Navy, and he and his wife of 1 year are being sent to Hawaii for a year in July..his mom is having a farewell luau for them..and I need some recipes ...preferebly simple ones..but any will do..will be between 20 and 30 people there ..of all ages!..any kind DIS'ers out there care to share some?..thanks in advance

That's a great link! Here's also a thread about a "cheesy" luau party with some ideas for making it festive at home. May have a useful tip or two for you.

don't know how I missed that thread in the first place..there were some really cute and fun ideas..not only for my luau..but for all kinds of other 'themed' partys...thanks so much for passing it on..now off to try making that chocolate crock pot cake!
