Okay all, I've been to Ohana but never the Luau. If you had to choose between the two, which would be your pick? Any tips are very appreciated. :cool1:

We have been to both. Now you know LUAU is a whole show. You will be there for quite sometime enjoying your meal and seeing a whole show. It is very good. With Ohana, if you wanted to have a great meal and then just leave, that would be the option. So what I am saying is Ohana if you have other events planned for the evening and LUAU if you want an entire show.

I felt with BOTH Ohana and the Luau the food and the service were awesome and equivalent. With Ohana (as you know) they do cater to the kids and they will sing HB to anyone celebrating but the LUAU show is excellent, fire eaters, belly dancers etc etc.

My DS and his DGF just went to the LUAU and LOVED IT. DH & I just ate at Ohana's and we loved that as well. :goodvibes

Hard pick, so decide if your are looking for a show to go along with your awesome meal...go for the ALOHA LUAU!!! :wave2:

Been to both.

Very different places.

The Luau is a show, good food and cost plenty! Around $50 per adult.

Ohana is very fun, the kids play games, the food is wonderful, and the price is not as bad, around 28-30 dollars per adult If I remember correct. Both are must do's if you have never done them.

We've been to the Luau and I agree the food is very good, but I find the show to be a bit corny. For what you pay I would of expected a bit more for my money. We haven't been to Ohana and plan on going there for our next trip. Since we are all big Stitch fans we are really looking forward to it.

I've been to both, & I would opt for the Luau if it were me. O'Hana changed their menu recently and it's not as good as it used to be. I think that the Luau is really fun, the dancers are great & it's a more unique experience.

I've got to say that we've never been to the Luau but I need to differ with the previous poster. We were hesitant when Ohana changed the menu because we loved the old way. BUT the new menu is even better than before. The salad is superb, the shrimp are great, the potatoes are very good and the bread pudding with banana foster sauce is the best. The meat of course is the same.

Ohana is still a favorite.
