Luau in Feb -- cold?

Just wondering if anyone had been to the Luau in winter -- do they have outdoor heat lamps? Does it get cold?

Are you talking about the spirit of aloha dinner show?? If so I think it is outside in a coverd area. Not sure about the heat lamps but I would assume that if it is going to be cold out side it would be cold.

We did this in February a couple of years ago. It was 38 degrees out! They do have so-called "heat lamps" which give you a little puff of warm air for about 30 seconds and then you freeze again for another five minutes or so. I would not go to this again at that time of year - it was very uncomfortable.

It was cold the year we went in Jan and raining. I highly recommend ajacket or heavy sweatshirt. If you go at other times in the year I would suggest another time if that is an option for you, but if not I would not pass it up.

I am going in January (the 4th) to the 8:00 show. I am wondering if I should switch to the 5:15 show due to it possibly being too cold by 8:00. Any advice? I am afraid if I switch this late in the game I will get a bad table since they are assigned at time of booking. I just don't know what to do now! My mom who will be with us gets cold if it is 90 degrees and sunny. Just kidding, but it seems like she is always cold so I am worried about her enjoying it. At $50 a person I really want to have a good time, not be wishing it was over so we could get out of the cold.
