I have ADR's for both during our stay Thanksgiving week...the day before TG (lunch) and the day after (dinner). Not sure if I will keep both ADR's. Which would be the better dining experience...isn't dinner served family style while lunch is ala carte? Anyone done both and have a preference?

Lunch is a regular ala cart menu in which you order from...Burgers, salad, chicken, there is a turkey lunch...Very good food.

Dinner is always a family-style, as much as you can eat, turkey dinner...The food is not fancy and is good...Not great...

Atmosphere is always wonderful around the holidays...It is decorated in such a beautiful way...

Twice will be two different experiences and both lovely...Not needed to go twice but it will be different and will be nice for the holiday week.

We have done both. We've been several times for lunch and it was always wonderful. Then, in 2008 we went for dinner for the characters. We usually ordered the turkey for lunch anyway so we thought it would be no problem.

To us, the family style food just wasn't as good a quality as ordering entrees at lunch. It was not bad by any means, it was just not as good as lunch. And, now with no characters, I don't see any benefit to going for dinner.

Hope this helps!
