LTT dinner - we once enjoyed the LTT dinner a few years back and then went back a year later and the dinner food was dried out. This year we did lunch and enjoyed it. We were afraid to do dinner with dried out food.

Menu:
PATRIOT'S PLATTER - A generous serving of roasted turkey breast, carved beef, and smoked pork loin, with mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, herb bread stuffing, and Stouffer's Macaroni and Cheese.

Would you go back to LTT for dinner ?

How did you like the food for dinner ?

I would love to hear opinions on the dinner as well. I currently have an ADR for LTT before MNSSHP. I don't want to waste the TS credits if it is yucky.

My BF and I went to dinner last August. Our food was fine. Quite enjoyable and tasty. We were not thrilled with our server. (Other servers in the area seemed much more on top of things.) We would go back for the food.

My wife loves the food; I find it pretty good.....nothing great but good. I never had a problem with it being dried out but I have had service issues there. Last time there the server was quite unattentive....very poor service!

Our family did not enjoy the dinner we had here. :sad2: I loved the salad and desert, but honestly thought everything else was mediocre at best. The meats were dry and the mac n cheese and the stuffing were not good at all. Very pre~packaged tasting. It is one of the few places that we will not try again for dinner. I do hear very good things about lunch there though. :confused3 We may try that in the future.

We ate there before MNSSHP and enjoyed the meal. The food was good--not dried out. We especially liked the salad and the flank steak. Characters came around several times too.

We ate there last week ( I now realize it was dinner - I posted elsewhere in a lunch thread) and it was not good. The worst service we had all week. The turkey and stuffing were OK. The pork really seemed to be ham? And the flank steak was marinated in a really strong flavor.

We will skip that one next time.

We LOVE lunch at LTT. So we tried the character dinner last month and were slightly disappointed with the food. We enjoyed the salad very much and the sauteed beans were tasty. However, the meats didn't seem to have a lot of taste. However, it was a great atmosphere and great character interaction. We would go again, but with the knowledge that we enjoy the lunch food better.

The LTT for lunch it will be.
What we liked:
Tavern Fried Cheese - with marinara sauce $5.29

Angus Chuck Cheeseburger topped with bacon and cheddar or mushrooms and provolone, served with Tavern fries $11.49

The Sandwich Heard Around the World - Grilled turkey panini with provolone cheese, Applewood smoked bacon, and cranberry spread on multi grain bread with lightly dressed field greens or tavern fries $10.99

Chocolate Liberation Cake -- warm chocolate lava cake with raspberry sauce and cherry Chambord ice cream $5.49

We also love the LTT mugs as a sovenier. You can buy them without getting the drink too..... Patriot's Punch
Enjoy a frozen beverage from our Patriot's Punch Bowl served with a Liberty Tree Tavern Collector's Mug. Take Home a Piece of the Tavern. $8.19

We had dinner at LTT las August, and everything was quite good. My kids are picky eaters, so this variety of standards was great for them. We all ate till we were stuffed. Character interaction was great too, we liked it better than Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace for both food quality and character interaction.

It is the only character dining that we will be repeating this year.

We had dinner there a couple of weeks ago and the meal was very tasty! We loved our server too. We will make LTT dinner a stop on each trip to WDW.

We loved the flank steak, DH the turkey, stuffing is 'ok', Mac N Cheese - delish!, the salad very tasty, mashed potatoes and gravy - yummy, topped off with a delicious desert and great characters.

We went to LTT for the character dinner in Sept 06 and I loved the food, but character interaction & service was a major disappointment. Our server was slow as molasses and we only saw one character until we said something to the character handler. The food was a highlight especially the apple pie.

We ate at LTT during MVMCP this past Dec. and we LOVED it:thumbsup2 DH enjoyed the flak steak and mashed potatoes, while me and Ds's enjoyed the mac n' cheese and the ham. The green beans are very tasty and so is the salad. We did not taste the dessert since I ordered a cake for DS for his bday. We are eating here again for MNSSHP on Sept.21 and am looking forward to it.:cheer2:

Not dried out -- just not good! The quality is only fair at best at dinner. Lunch is better. But, if you want great character interaction, this is a good spot for it. And, if you have fun character interaction, who cares about the food? That's the only thing that gets us to pay a phenomenal price for CRT anymore --the princesses and the castle!
