Heard many people rave about but it has never called out to me. Going w/ 2 kids under three and want to take adavantage of not having to pay for them but having good food. Is this a place that will be good for them? Is it still too costly for what you get?

Them only downside to LTT IMHO is that the menu is so limited. You have to make sure that your little ones, or even big ones if they're picky like mine, will eat the few items that are offered. My kids ate the turkey, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and string beans. They did not eat the salad, flank steak, ham, stuffing, or in the case of DS,14, the dessert because he will only eat choocolate ice cream, not vanilla.

We've gone to LTT for dinner four times now, and have an ADR for July. THe first time the kids were 2 1/2, 4 1/2 and 5 1/2 and they loved it. My kids love the salad, rolls with honey butter, turnkey, mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. They also love the dessert - we've had both cherry (myfavorite) and apple cobbler with ice cream. I don't think you can go wrong there. The character interaction was great - characters have even come to our table twice, the atmosphere is really nice and if you time it right you can go out on the porch and watch the Spectromagic parade. IMHO you can't go wrong with LTT and little ones!

We went last September during MNSSHP and loved it. My DS was 3.5 and ate everything! He tried to take the whole platter of meat for himself. All the characters came by at least once and stayed with him for a while. We are planning to go again this year.

We did this one the first time when dd was 3 and we've gone back the last 2 times we went. We both love that one and since we are both very picky eaters we really liked the menu. Little one's will usually always eat mac n cheese and mashed potatoes. And the character transaction is really great. This past year we went when we were there for MNSSHP and dd was dressed as Tinkerbell and Chip made her fly around the room with him. It was great and she had a blast. I would definitely suggest going, I'm sure that will always be one we go to.

My four young children LOVED the LTT. The food and the characters are great. It is now a must do for us. :thumbsup2

Our family had a great experience there a couple of weeks ago. This is what I wrote about it in my trip report:
After the mediocre food we suffered through at character meals in years past, Liberty Tree Tavern was a surprise. The food is actually very good, and I might try to convince my wife to do lunch here on some future trip.

We've had dinner at LTT. It was really good and the kids enjoyed it. There was SO much food brought to our table. The character interaction is good. Dale was putting Mickey head confetti in my daughter's hair! I'd love to eat there again.
