LTT Character Change???

I just read on another board- magictrips.com- that LTT is changing characters for dinner. According to the board, they are replacing Chip and Dale with Donald and Daisy. Has anyone else heard this? I wonder if this information is reliable?

I don't know if it's true or not but it's very interesting news and I thank you for sharing it!

I have a PS for Dec 2 before MVMCP and I need to cancel it if I get Crystal Palace because I invited my niece and they told me they are so booked they cannot add her onto my PS. So I will be switching to CP at 60 days, but I must say, adding Donald and especially Daisy makes me sad I have to cancel!!!

Yes it's true!!! I just called and the CM informed me that as or 6/29 the new characters will be Minnie, Pluto, Donald and Daisy. she said Goofy, Chip and Dale would be leaving!!! I'm SO GLAD we have ressies there now, DD is a HUGE Daisy fan!!!

My hubby is a major Donald Fan. Last time we did Donald's at AK, and lucked out at Chef Mickeys ( he was in the lobby).

We decided to do LTT before MNSSHP. I was worrying that he wouldn't get to see him this year.

I had posted a poll about a week or two ago, trying to decide on L or D at LTT for my December trip. This info. "seals the deal" for me.... dinner it is!

Tell me more....when will they start with the new characters? I have friends going in October who love Donald!! I want to give them the scoop...

And will they still wear Colonial garb? I love the LTT, but I never really got into the character costumes for some reason at this restaurant. (no problem withthe safari gear at the Breakfastasaurus, but the Colonial thing didn't grab me...).

I'm thrilled with the change! We've gone the past two years and Chip & Daler were great, but I'll be happy to see something different! I don't think that they'll change the colonial dress though as it's part of the theming.

I am glad when they change characters around as it gives us more new things to try ! Whenever anyone tries this with the new characters, post back here! Would love to know all about it. I think I will book it as a surprise for the kids.

We made our PS for LTT on July 25, and I'll post when we get back. I'm thrilled with the change! The CM I spoke with, Isaac, said they had to let Goofy, Chip, and Dale leave the dinner at LTT bc they will be performing at the new show at Diamon Horse Shoe Saloon, Goofy's Country Jamboree, along with----- WOODY AND JESSIE!!!

I hate to see the DH show go, my dad absolutely loved it, was his favorite thing last trip, but I defenitely see this as two positive changes for the Kiddos. How great to have Woody and JEssie in a show! Kind of weird to mix them with Goofy and CHip and Dale, but whatever.
