LTT before MNSSHP

We have 4:05 reservations at LTT on October 8th. I made these due to the fact that the next best time was 7:30 and I didn't want our meal working into our party time. I understand that the characters dress up (not in their colonial garb) for Halloween. Will they be dressed up before the party starts? This is our first Disney party so we are very excited!

No. Since the resturant is still on it's normal park operating hours for day guests they will be dressed in their Liberty Tree Tavern costumes, not their Halloween costumes (those are party exclusive).

Thank you! After thinking it over I realized that this was probably the case. I think we'll have another look at our ever changing plan.

Uhhh...wait a minute....they were dressed up last year when we went for dinner at about 5:00pm before the party on Oct 30th.

I'm 99% sure they will have their Halloween attire on party nights during dinner hours, which are 4:00p to 9:00p. I've eaten there and they were already in their Halloween 'masks' (it's really only a mask) when we ate at 5:15p. I highly doubt they go and change into Halloween masks part way through dinner.

Thank you everyone for replying to my question. I would have preferred something closer to 5:30 for dinner, but getting tickets this late and planning this late I was happy to even get a PS! I am hoping that dinner hours mean masks, since that is why I booked the PS.
