Caro's MOM has ESCAPED from the hospital (upright) and is now in rehab at a location near Caroline's home. She must have an AMAZING constitution! GO MOM!

Thank you so much - amazing is the word for mom. She's like the Energizer Bunny - she just keeps going. Never been away from any of us for a night, this being alone at 99 is a real test for her. As long as she can see the light at the end of the tunnel (getting out of rehab) she'll work at it. That is our hope.

Visited with mom for 3 hrs tonight after school - heard she would not eat today from my sister, refused physical therapy... i did convince her to have a breathing treatment tonight which clearly helped her breathing. My sister and I tried to explain that the sooner she felt stronger, the sooner she would be home. My sister does feel that if she keeps refusing it might be best to bring her home. More likely to get her to eat in familiar surroundngs.
