Limited Time Magic: "Tour Disney's Hollywood Studios with an Official Walt Disney World Ambassador" - Hollywood Studios 9/16-9/20/13

As part of Limited Time Magic, Guests will begin the experience at the main entrance of Disney's Hollywood Studios at 9:30 am where Guests will be greeted by an official Walt Disney World Ambassador. Throughout the tour, Guests will learn some of the Ambassador program history. The role of a Disney Ambassador started with Walt Disney in 1965 when he needed assistance in representing all the great things happening during the 10th anniversary of Disneyland. The program continues today in each of our sites across the globe as Disney Ambassadors serve as emissaries of goodwill. The Ambassadors represent the heart and enthusiasm of Cast Members at our respective resorts by celebrating with Cast Members at internal events as well as serving as lead Disney VoluntEARS out in the community. Serving as official representatives of Disney the Ambassadors share the rich legacy and imaginative storytelling that continues to immerse people of all ages and cultures in the magic of Disney.

As the tour continues, Guests will also learn a little about the history of Disney's Hollywood Studios while walking to the Tower of Terror, as the Disney Ambassador guide points out some fun Icons. Once the Guests arrive at the attraction, they will meet up with the operations partners to set up a “walk” of the Tower of Terror. They will share some fun facts and history about the attraction the Guests cannot get from just riding it. While walking the attraction there will be time for photos at approved Guest locations within the Tower of Terror. When the walking tour is finished, the Guests will then have the opportunity to ride the attraction.

One tour per day. Space is extremely limited and available by registration via the Disney Parks Blog only.

We started about 930 on the nose. Rich and Tye took us through some of the history of Disney's Hollywood Studios and then we made our way to tower of terror. It was hosted by TJ, who literally wrote the book on bellhop theming and was the second cast member officially attached to the tower. We got to roam around the lobby, learned a lot about everything then made our way into the library where they talked more. Lasted about an hour and fifteen minutes and ended with a ride on the attraction. No one was forced to ride of course

Does Disney ever extend the dates of their LTM events? The time span is so short and I'll be there on the 22nd.
