LTM Pirate week

I was reading a site that mentioned a pirate week with Jack Sparrow visits...anyone hear of this or know a date?

Most Limited Time Magics are announced a week in advance, with the 24 hour day being the exception and that really isn't a LTM. Therefore, this won't be announced till the Friday before. However, if you read the wording of the original press release it uses the phrase "Why talk like a pirate one day when..". Talk Like a Pirate Day is September 19th, a Thursday. So I'd guess it will be Sept 16th- 22nd. But that is a guess.

Not always true. They announced the 13th hour one on September 13th (Friday) at Hollywood Studios where it will be open till 1am ad have dance parties plus the week long one in July for Independence Week.

That was a part of the original press release in which they named a few to get people excited. Pirate's week, Long Lost Friends week and Dapper Dans Sing Boy Bands were also a part of that. They do not just randomly announced Limited Time Magic's. Monstrous Summer is part of their summer promotion which allowed it to be announced at a press event. The rest, since that initial press release, come the Friday before 11am-1 on Limitedtimemagic.com

I wonder if they are doing some special on Sept 18th. Park closes at 9pm but Wishes is set for 8pm. Seems odd to me. Anyone else speculating on whats to come?

We will be at WDW that week celebrating my son's 8th b'day on the 18th. I have booked him a pirate cruise, have pirate decorations, etc. I so want that week to be Pirate Week officially.
