Lowest Rate for Minivan Rental

When do the rental agencies typically come out with the lowest rate offer for December rental at MCO? Right now the best I got was about $550 for 11 days. In May, I paid $415 for 11 days renting at TPA and returning at MCO.

I booked through Dollar's website for our upcoming trip in February 2004. The base rate was 179.99 for one week. We are renting it for 9 days and our total including taxes and fees was $326.23.
Not sure why I got this low rate this far in advance but I feel lucky!
I forgot to add that we are picking up at St Petersburg airport. That could be a reason why it was cheap.
