Lowes or Home Depot - Disney Gift Cards??

Does anyone know if either store carries Disney gc's? I know so many stores have gc kiosks or whatever now...

And April-June I get 5% cashback on purchases made with my Discover It card at home improvement stores....so it could be a great thing haha!

I've looked and never seen Disney gift cards there. Maybe get a Target card? For a couple weekends in December, Target offers 20% off stuff, including $50 Disney Gifts. With the Target Debit or Credit card, you actually get $50 gift cards for $38, or 24% off.

Does Target limit how many Disney gift cards can be purchased?
It would be worth the effort to save at the Grand or on an AP

Yes, gcs spendable at onsite hotels and for tickets/aps. Target only limits you by your spending cap. With the visa I guess that would be your credit limit. I just have the red card (debit) and when I first got it my limit was around 300, now it is at least 1000 and I have purchased 800 gc one day and another 300 the next, no issue. They won't tell you your debit limit, it's computerized based on your spending patterns and of course whether any charge goes nsf. Just fyi as I got the card just before a big trip this summer and was disappointed to only be able to buy 300 gc at a time. I would have gotten the visa!

We always buy Disney Gift Cards at a discount (either Target or a 16-20% discount at my local Texas grocery store, HEB) and use those for our trip. They work everywhere. One year, HEB had a 33.3% discount on Disney Gift Cards. Unbelievable savings.

They are regular Disney Gift Cards and can be used anywhere you can use a Disney Gift Card in the parks, disney store, online, disney cruise etc etc.

I do not believe there is a limit. I just purchased $400 worth at Target today with my debit red card 5% off stacked with the 5% off pharmacy rewards. I have purchased $600 worth in a single transaction the past.

The only annoying part is, at least at my Target, they only have $25 and $50 denominations. Not that big a deal but I'm sure the ticket window person at DLR hated me with my stack of GCs to pay for an AP (though they were very nice about it, of course)

We have been looking all over Texas for discounted Disney gc....
do you know if there is currently a deal at HEB.
We want to pay off the rest of our cruise, and if we can do so with a savings like that, we would have more $$ to put towards air fair and on board spending.

To answer my own question: No. Lowe's will not let you use a gift card to buy a gift card.

Too bad, because I can get a Lowe's card from MyPoints at a good exchange. I'll try Safeway next! That point exchange is good, too (better than Target, which DOES let you buy a gc with a gc) and I've heard that Safeway will let you do it. Before I order a Safeway gc, though, I want to make sure. If not, I'll just go with Target or prepaid Visa.

You can BUT... online I believe you can only use up to three gift cards to complete your purchase. Since Lowe's only sells Disney GCs in $25 & $50 denominations, you likely wouldn't have enough balance on three or less cards.

I did want to say that this is the second year in a row that I've purchased Disney gift cards at Lowe's. Since I have a Lowe's in store credit card, I wait until they run a promotion for 12 or 18 months no interest, then I stock up on gift cards and pay them off at my convenince. Not a discount, per se, but DEFINITELY a huge help on the budget to not have to pay for them all at once.

you can use more than three gift cards to pay online, it just takes some time because you have to process them one at a time and the system is slow.
