Lower Fast Pass numbers?

Yesterday was my 60 day Fastpass window for our trip in June. I woke up early and jumped on the MDE and there was next to nothing available. We go just about every year and I am well aware that the popular rides are always hit and miss, but this was different. Even in the Magic Kingdom, Fast Passes for things like Space Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain were only available after 5 pm or not available at all. I'm not overly disappointed because at this point I doubt that Disney World will even be open and even if it is I am not sure that we will still be going, but does anybody know if Disney is already lowering numbers on Fast Pass for crowd control and/or social distancing?

Do I know for a fact, no. Do I suspect it, yes. Today was the most challenging Fastpass selection day I've ever had.

I had the same experience yesterday. It was the hardest fastpass day for us since FP+ was rolled out. We sometimes couldn't get FOP or something but yesterday everything was hard to get. I took random times since I kind of doubt our trip will happen in June.

It wouldn't be unheard of but also just as likely that it's a perfect storm of LOTS of rescheduled trips combined with the usual June crowds. People are probably super antsy to get back to normal life.

I am going June 1-6. The only thing I didn’t see a fastpass option for at all was Big Thunder, but several people have mentioned getting it by calling and there may be an MDE glitch. I got almost all the big ones though. FOP, MMRR, Peter Pan, 7DMT, Smugglers Run, Test Track, RNRC, TOT, MWM. I didn’t try for Slinky Dog so I can’t speak for that one. But I will say, there seems to be a limited amount. Many more of mine are in the mid afternoon and evening than usual. And it actually seemed harder to get the further I went out in my trip. So I think people with longer trips are snatching up the limited amount they are putting out.

I had the same problem on Monday for our 60+ FP day. This is a rescheduled trip from March that was cancelled during the first closure announcement. I had a much easier time getting FPs in January for my March spring break trip. This time I couldn't get most of the big rides at any point in my trip. Last time I could at least get a FP for most of the big rides just not at an ideal time. This time many of them weren't even available during our entire 7 day stay. I am not confident this trip or even the backup trip I have planned in late July will happen but I am using the planning to have something positive to look forward to.

Same here. It was bad enough that I'm having to modify parks for certain days. I've never had to do that before.

Less cast members when they open = less ride capacity = less available fast passes = longer waits for everyone even if less people are in the parks.

Imagine that. We may see lower crowds but longer lines due to the lack of CP.

I had the same experience today. Nothing for the top rides I wanted (FoP, MMRR, Falcon) I was pretty sure I was cancelling my trip, but looked anyway since it was my FP day. I did go ahead and cancel my Gran Destino Tower reservation. Now waiting for Delta to announce waivers for June flights. (fingers crossed)

How long is your trip?
It sounds abysmal all around, but was say, 60+5 any better or anything?

Has anyone had a better time online than on the app? I have heard MDE is being worse than usual

Our last FP+ day is 6/12 and still had issues when I started at +7. I used the online website and it worked fine.

Last week I couldn't get anything new at HS at 60+4, or FoP at 60+5, and no Mine Train at 60+2. So either there will be large crowds, or the long-staying folk got them early, or they are limiting. But I've never had an issue with getting "nothing" I wanted before at 60+. It was weird.

When you combine it with DSS not being open yet, it's been a frustrating early June trip to plan. Glad to see (glad's probably not the right word. maybe empathetic?) we're not alone.

I had the same issue today, slim pickings for FP. It got better the later I went into our trip, but with just 2 people in our party I usually don’t have this hard a time.

Like others I’m not even sure we’ll actually be going so I just tried not to worry about it. If we do end up going I’m sure I‘ll have to adjust expectations about more than that!

Delta sent out an email last month saying they are waiving change fees and stuff through December, I had no issue changing my flight to August. I don't know if you can get a refund for a canceled ticket, but I know they're helping people with giving credits for future flights. I know I was able to make changes easily via the website.

Today is the opening window for booking my FP+, for a 9-night vacation stay. While I am not sure at all to travel there, I booked some FP+. They were the most limited options I have ever seen for E-ticket attractions. The first FP+ available for Flight of Passage is at 60+6 days. It is about the same for all first tier attractions at Disney's Hollywood Studios (especially Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway).

My day to book was Saturday, and yeah, even with 60+4, I couldn't get much. Booking in January for March Spring Break, I was at least able to get an afternoon FoP, a morning 7DMT and an early afternoon MFSR. This time, none of that and couldn't get any tier 1 in DHS. Trying to compensate with rope drop for morning EMH and play by ear after that. :-/

We're also OK with single rider lines, so that should help as well.

I'm a June 1-7 trip. I got SSD, MFSR couldn't get FOP, or 7DMT. The top two were the HS rides. We're ok without 7DMT but I did want FOP. I was surprised at the lack of options!

Same. This is completely disheartening. I’m so sorry this is happening to you guys, I can’t imagine the disappointment.
