Lower Crowd Level vs EMH

We have two different days during our trip which we could visit HS:

Day 1 Option: Crowd level 5, no EMH, 9am-7pm
Day 2 Option: Crowd level 7, EMH 9am-9pm

I'm not sure how to compare the two options. Does an extra two hours in the park with a high crowd level make these two days comparable?

I agree. Why go to a more crowded park when you can easily see and do everything during a regular, less crowded day. It's not as if the queues at the headliners will die down during EMH. For us, MK is the only park with enough attractions to spread out the crowds enough to make evening EMH worthwhile.

I agree. We were just there a few weeks ago and with all of the refurbishments this park is easily do-able in 3/4 of a day. We spent a whole day there for the frozen fireworks and by the end of the day were re-riding many of the rides. I would go with option 1.

I was just weighing these options myself, so I'm glad that OP posted this! We will be there in September, I will be making FP+ selections tonight and was trying to come up with a rough outline of our plan for DHS. I realized that when trying to put in rides, a couple of shows, early F! Mama Melrose lunch, and a break to freshen up for dinner at Yachtsman before F!, we are going to have a very full day! We may end up cutting the lunch and just wait in line for F! so that we can get some of our park time back. For some reason planning this park is making me crazy!
