I am just loving the new Disney advert - How would you tell them? So does my 3yr old DD, who keeps asking when can she go and see where Mickey Mouse lives....(try and explain lack of money so will have to wait a few years!) anyway, it brings a little tear to my eye watching the ad and seeing just how excited the kiddies are and how blessed we are to be able to take our little ones to such a magical place. I am so looking forward to being able to do the same even if we have to wait a few years.....btw sorry if this has already been posted, i haven't been on for a while :)

me too!! this advert gives me goosebumps when i see it. Very clever advertising from Disney. :thumbsup2

We didn't tell our DD about our recent trip until xmas day! She was really excited and thought that Santa had brought her a trip to WDW for xmas. So funny. :rotfl:

Another one here who loves the new Disney advert :)

I recorded it on my phone so that I can watch it whenever I like! Ok, I may be a little sad.... :lmao:

Me too, gets me all excited thinking about being in the 'World in 10 weeks time :goodvibes::mickeyjum

ps. You're In B'ham? :0 hello from Tamworth :wave2:

yeah hiya - i'm in Sutton Coldfield so not far from Tamworth....i'd love to surprise my little DD with her first time and video it too.....maybe we could get paid by Disney for the next advert :goodvibes

I love the ad too!
We are planning to travel out mid Dec next year to stay over DD's 4th B'day (Christmas Eve) and come home around 27th.
We are planning to keep it a surprise and will probably put an "invitation" in her advent calendar in early Dec from Cinderella to invite her to lunch at the castle for her birthday (thats assuming I can get the ADR!)

i love the ad,

im also keeping our ocotber 2012 orlando holiday a secret from my husband, son and younger brother. we(me and mum) are planning on telling them on our wedding anniversary next may when we got out for a family meal

i love the ad and it made me cry the first time i seen it. everytime it comes on i tell isabelle where she is going on her holidays in may and we dance around the room together - she gets so excited but of course doesnt understand since she is only 18 months old, but she loves the dance we do :cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

I love the adverts, and I love the music that does along with it :lovestruc reminds me when I was surprised... 10 years ago now :scared1:

I have't seen the ad yet but in the past we have surprised our girls but for our trip next month :hyper: we decided to tell them as they are older and we would like them to be involved and get excited like we do ;) We are a travelling a day after eldest DD's 8th birthday so it was another reason to involve her.

In the past we have one method of surprising them with our trips to WDW or DLRP and the way that we do it is this, DH changes the voice on the Sat Nav to Chip and Dale and they know we're on our way......:goodvibes

This add makes me tear up every time i see it. It really is a great advert though :)

I must admit to getting a little teary when watching the ad! We kept our holiday a secret from our daughter until Christmas morning. We wrapped brochures and dollars up in a big box and put it under the tree. For about two weeks she wondered what the big present was. When she opened it she saw the brochures and said in a really slow, quiet voice " Walt Disney World". Then a little louder "Are we going to Disney World? In Florida?". When we said yes she screamed and the little girl screaming in the advert always reminds me of that moment.

i have booked to go next year in September for 21 nights and am not planning on telling dd who be 9 and ds who be 7 till couple weeks before hand have no clue how yet but will need to video it

Dd sees the advert and says they must be really rich to go there and are very lucky .Maybe if we win the lottery can we go one day .Theres a backstory when dd was very ill I promised taht one day we would go and see some dolphins .Little does she know in 18 months not just going to see them we are going to swim with them

Am thinking maybe a tresure hunt or putting some bits out and say oh you might want these or might even recored the disney advert thats out now and when she sighs and looks all wishfull and then say oh by the way not won lottery but you better decide what you want to take to do on the plane as we are goin g
