Pete, I most definitely hope you do another show like this in the future. I loved it! And, no Kevin, that wasn't because yours truly got mentioned not once...but twice!!!!!:thumbsup2:rotfl2:

Great work, podcast team!

Oh, and Pete, I also wanted to add that I know exactly how feel. As a teacher, I have found my passion, but sometimes find myself sucked into it 24 hours a day. With email, parents have access to us constantly. I often find myself responding immediately even when it is night time and I am home. Now that I have an iPhone, I am checking work email even more regularly than I was before. On the weekends, I am always working on something for the kids. It's very difficult to break away when you are passionate about what you do.

However, I have found that you have to force yourself to disconnect sometimes...even if it is just for a day on the weekend or a few hours! It definitely allows you to recharge and refocus. Otherwise, you could start hating what you do or find it as something unpleasurable. Thank goodness I get the summer to recharge. I would never make it through otherwise. It's very exhausting working 50-80 hour weeks. So hugs to you and go get some fresh air!:flower3:

I'm listening to them answer my question now!! :worship: Except Pete called me Amy, when my name is Ann. Oh well! :goodvibes

I LOVED the FB to FB show today. As a relatively new listener in the last 6 months, I thought it was a great way to get to know all of you better! I too laughed & cried (Julie's answer to what the nicest thing Corey has done got to me!) I was almost so choked up, I nearly missed my name when you read my question - The vacation destination question from Jamie Cash. It made my day to hear my question on my way to work today! Thanks team! :thumbsup2

I loved it too. It was nice to get to know everybody. Great questions.:thumbsup2

I hope this becomes a regular segment, maybe a once-a-month thing. I thought the was the most interesting DIS podcast I've ever listened to.

I also own my own business and work from home; so I really appreciated hearing about some of the struggles the team goes through in not being able to get away from work. People say to me all the time how lucky I am to work from home and how they wish they could, too; but when you own your own business, you are always at work. Going on vacation or even just going somewhere for a couple of days means I have to shut down my website, which means I don't make any money. I love my business and would never want to go back to working for someone else, but my work is now completely intertwined with my life.

I laughed my head off too. This was such a fun show. Heh. I can't wait to send Levin a surprise in the mail now. TEEHEE :X

I enjoyed the FB show, but I don't have my own FB (nor care to start to have one at this point).

I enjoyed most of the questions and the great responses.

I love this!! I agree with Ann that it should be a monthly segment. I felt like I got to know the Podcast team a little better. It helps when you're someone like me who hasn't gotten the oppurtunity to meet them yet.

Oh, and I really want to read that book about Down Syndrome. I love hearing stories like that.
