The Polynesian is still our favorite. First of all, Disney is for kids and kids love pools. The Beach Club has the best pool and slide at WDW bar none. Our daughter absolutely loved it. The location of BC is also great. Easy walk to EPCOT, easy (hot & stuffy) boat ride to MGM. The wait for busses to the other parks; MK, AK Typhoon Lagoon, Disney Quest, seemed to be a little bit long. It took over 30 minutes on a several occasions. Character breakfast at Cape may is good. The Board walk is neat, located just around the water. Flying Fish Restaurant there was the best meal we've had at Disney in a long time.
We love the Polynesian because the Resort itself is much nicer then the Beach Club. The rooms are better layed out. My wife gets up early to dress. The rooms have a dressing area you can close the door. The beach Clug doesn't The pool is very good, has a slide my daughter loved. Character Breakfast is also very good, last but not least, the monorail is hard to beat.
