We just got back from CSR yesterday and we all loved it!! The bus service was by far the best we have ever experienced ( we have previously stayed at POFQ, CBR, BC, YC, and WL) In fact, we would not bother to rent a car next time we stay at CSR. It is very centrally located to the parks. The Pepper Market and pool area were terrific! The staff and mousekeeping were very efficient and friendly. We were in Cabana 9B and the location cannot be beat. Also, it was the quietest room we have ever had at a Disney resort. We were in 9625 on the back side of the building. Let me know if you have any questions.

Glad you liked it. We prefer deluxe, but have no complaints whatsoever about CSR and have probably stayed there more than any other resort. :earsboy:

We also just returned from a week's stay at CSR. We were in Cabana 8B. We had a view of the lake. This was a very nice resort. Mousekeeping was good. The pool was fantastic. Pepper Market was also good. The bus service was great. This resort is centrally located to everything. The parking lot was close to all the buildings in the Cabana section. I do not know about the other sections. For a moderate resort, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

That's nice to know. In january i'm 90 percent sure i'm heading down there with my aunt and grandmother for some convention of theirs (we're driving). I have never heard a "bad" thing at all about this resort, and that it probably is the best pool out of all the hotels at disney.

The life guards left at 8:00 and the pool slide closed then also. However, the pool was actually open until midnight. I wish the pool bar had stayed open longer. They closed everynight about 7:00.

I'm not a huge fan of slides, because they usually mean that i have to be wearing a one piece when i go down one. No matter what kind of two piece you have, it seems to come off on a slide. :rolleyes1

Kimberly-you may want to break out the one piece for this slide-very fun!

I was there in January a few years ago and it was 85 degrees-absolutely perfect weather so you never know about Florida. Once we went in April and it was freezing.

Usually springtime weather in florida is drier than the rest of the months though, resulting in somewhat cooler temperatures, especially in central florida and on the west coast. I've actually never been down in florida in january before... so who knows. Hopefully it will be bathing suit weather! :cool1:

We find CSR to be by far one of the best resorts hands down. We will stay at CSR before ever staying at BCYC even with owning DVC we would rather use the points to stay at CSR than VWL or BCV. It honestly rivals all teh deluxes in terms of amenities and service and the grounds are by far the best on property.

Glad to hear you had a great time, gopack! All this great info & pictures on these sites have made up our minds-we've just changed our resort for our October '06 trip to CSR-I CAN'T WAIT! It's great to hear from a fellow NC resident & Disney lover! If you have any good tips & info on this resort please email me!
Also thanks to Buzz2001 for the terrific CSR site! The gorgeous pictures & great info helped us make up our minds-THANKS!!! :earsboy: :Pinkbounc

Glad to see you had a great time at CSR, our very favorite moderate!!! I've read people don't like the "suits" walking around, but after 3 stays, we never even noticed them and there were conventions during our stays. Can't wait to go back In august!!!

Joyous99-the best advice I can give you is to request the Cabana section if you want to be close to everything. 9B is the closest building to El Centro and a short walk to the Dig Site. Also, the bus stop was very close and we were near the parking lot without having to see it or hear noise from it. We did not pay for waterview but were put in a waterview room. I did not request waterview, but just asked for Cabanas.

We are going to CSR next week as a part of a grand gathering! Some of our GG are staying at AKL, and we actually feel sorry for them :guilty: . Really, I am sure it's great, we have just been reading up on CSR for years, now :earboy2: . Buzz, we love your site. Hope it is not too crowded :crowded:. We lucked out and got free dining :sunny: . We requested Cabanas....hope we get it. It sounds lovely :thewave: :thewave: .
