Loved Csr!!

84Disney-I hope you have a great trip! Try to eat at the Pepper Market if you get a chance. It is a real bargain on the dining plan because it only counts as a counter service meal. We thought the Pepper Market was awesome and it is hard for me to understand how people do not like it. Buzz's website is wonderful isn't it! His website is what got me interested in the CSR.

Did you have the dining plan during your trip? If so, did that cover the 10% gratuity that is charged there? I know it covers gratuities for table service meals, but since this is considered counter service I was just wondering. We have the Dining plan for our trip in Oct. 2006. I CAN'T WAIT!!!! :Pinkbounc

Yes we were on the dining plan. We always got our food To Go so we did not encounter the 10%. I was told though that it would be covered by the plan. Just to let you know a couple of things I learned about the plan while we were there. A bottle of water is not covered by the plan at the Pepper Market, but it can be bought with a snack credit next door at the little convenience store. Also, the only desserts for the plan are the cookies (huge and delicious), a muffin (looked great but never had one) or yogurt (not the soft serve yogurt from the machine but a little Dannon yogurt). The Pepper Market is wonderful and we enjoyed all of the food we had there. I hope you have a great time!

I wish the pool bar had stayed open longer. They closed everynight about 7:00.

:earseek: oh no - I heard the CSR pool bar stays open late - that is a bummer to hear as we were hoping to sit by the pool after the parks with a margarita. Oh well.

Glad you liked CSR. Can I ask - did you fax or request Cabanas? It seems like EVERYONE requests it (and we did too.)

We will be there in a few days - so excited!!!!

We are arriving on 10/4 for 8 nights.
I will be in a waterview room and like the majority of people here I requested the cabanas section.
It sounds like agreat resort, I know the kids will love the slide. They loved the one at POFQ.
Thanks for all the reviews.

CSR has an internal shuttle system so there is no walking if you don't want to. Just wait at the designated stops and a shuttle cart will bring you to and from the main building to your room.

Remember, with the new internal shuttle system, room location isn't as crucial as it used to be.

does anyone know what conventions will be at CSR next week?

Association for Educational Communications and Technology October 18-22

International Student Media Festival
October 19–21

Suzanne-I did not fax my request. I did have it noted on my reservation. However, I am positive the woman who checked us in changed our room asssignment. I just acted all happy to be there and said I would really love to be in a nonsmoking Cabana room. Maybe it helps not to request a certain building-I am not sure about that. I did not want the smoking optional 9A. The point Buzz made about the internal shuttle is a good one, however, I would still prefer a Cabana location if possible. Buzz, the pictures you are able to produce from CSR is amazing!

Glad you posted! DH and I LOVEEE CSR! we had a great room by the spa and overlooking the pool! sooo wonderful, convenient and we found the resort to be romantic!!
