Love ya, Mean it

Glad for all of your family. Will continue prayers for a good recovery.

Drat! I didn't want to have to ponder anything just now. Those questions will drive my mind to blank. Oh wait, I think I have already arrived.:p

Thanks for the update. :D

Could Brother ask the info guy this:

How come there are no "B" batteries?:scratchin

Robin, just got home from work glad to hear that things are improving with your mom, and that your brother is still supplying you with great material.

Prayers continuing for all of you .

Just a quick story...last Friday morning I stopped by to see my Nephews (4) and bookmarked a trip report I did for one of them Magical Moment at The 50's Prime Time Cafe I did this around 10:00am then left and came home...in the report I referenced back to one of your trip reports where you meet Uncle Dave at the Prime Time and the "Love ya, Mean it" story.

I recieved a phone call at 10:45pm Friday Night from my sister, she said, "I just read Delswife Trip reports ALL of them, I started before 5:00pm and just finished. She said she laughed, cried, got mad, laughed, cried, over and over again. We where on the phone very late that night, she enjoyed your stories so much.

So thank you once again for all the laughter and for Brandon's Magical Moment. If you have time please read it, may just lighten your day a little.

Good news! Glad to hear that Mom is home and doing better. I'll e-mail you guys for her address...I'll bet she'll get a kick out of all the cards she gets...the mailman won't know what's going on!:eek:

I have been away from the community boards for awhile...or at least not as often. I didn't realize your mother was ill- so sorry to hear that. I hope she is doing even better today and the rest of the week and will be on her way to her comfy home soon. Keep your chin up Robin!!! We love ya, mean it! ::yes::

Great news Robin. I'll continue to pray for your mom and the whole family.

As to the speed of dark question, the answer depends on how old you are and the time of year. When I was a kid and it was summer vacation time and I could stay out "until it gets dark" the answer to the speed of dark question was TOO FAST.

Dear Robin....{{{HUGS}}}

Last summer, when I was told to admit my mother to hospice, I came here, to this wonderful, caring community, and I asked for prayers and good wishes and hope. I got all three.

I can't tell you what a comfort the outpouring of caring was to me.

The prayers worked. My mother is alive and mentally alert and although she is not well enough to come home, she is making steady progress.

I am honored to offer my prayers for your mother, to add them to the hundreds of other prayers being said on her behalf.

I'm praying right now and I plan to continue my prayers until your mother is safe and well.

Sending you a private message.

Count me in for prayers and well wishes. I've been away from the disboard for a little while and I did not know your Mom was ill.

Your posts indicate how close your family is and how much your Mom means to you. I'm glad to hear your Mom is doing better.

As far as the speed of dark is concerned - I think your family has already found the answer - Humor is faster - as long as you have humor - the dark will never catch up. Keep laughing and we'll keep praying.:hug:

Our whole family here in Tennessee is thinking about you and sending Pixie Dust, Robin! And Brother, too.

Robin, glad to hear your Mom is doing better. Thanks for sharing that nice story of her. {{{{{HUGS}}}}

Wabin and Brother,

So glad to hear that your Mother is doing better except for that nasty Gallbladder. Thanks for keeping us posted and don't forget to get some rest yourself. Many thoughts and prayers going your way to your family during this time. How are the kids taking all of this??

Love ya, mean it too, Robin :)

You are all still in my prayers. :hug:

Dearest Wobin, Brother and your whole family...

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. You all amaze me....even during difficult times you keep your spirits up.

You gave so much joy to so many of us last year...that I hope the amount of joy you spread to us all is tripled for you and your loved ones.

Brother..glad to hear that there is a light at the end of your dark tunnel ;)

:grouphug: Know that we are all praying for your Mom and her speedy recovery.

Happy to hear your mom is recovering. You sound like you get your spirit from her. Best wishes for a speedy recovery for all of you.:D

I'm glad your Mother is doing better Robin. I will continue to keep her in my prayers.

Robin and Brother;
I'm so gald to hear that your mom is doing better. May she have a speedy recovery. My mom did the gallbladder thing last fall only her stone blocked the duct (wedged in ) and couldn't get any further due to it's size. that was unpleasent enough then to hve to wait 2 months for surgery since it wasn't infected. the power of prayer is an amazing thing. More prayers coming your way I've thought about your family all weekend.
