Love those 80's!

I only remember Roz, who was played by Selma Diamond. Then I remember the African American woman, but don't remember either her name or her character's name. Don't actually remember a third female bailiff though.

Actually, Roz WAS the African-American baliff, played by Marcia Warfield. I think that Selma diamond played the 2nd female baliff in that series.

I may be wrong,, but I think Selma also played a judge on the Barney Miller show ???:confused3

I googled it. You're absolutely right! I guess my idea about Roz from Monsters Inc. was completely wrong. :sad1:

No, you're still right that Roz from Monster's is a lot like Roz in Night Court. I got a good laugh out of that connection. The voice is closer to the first Night Court baliff, but I can see the Roz-Roz connection.

The three bailiffs were Selma, Florence and Roz, in that order. Selma and Florence both passed while appearing on the show. The first female attorney was played by Ellen Foley but I don't remember the character's name. I always preferred Markie though.

I don't remember that but I do remember her in the Twilight Zone movie and Too Close For Comfort.

Night Court was on Thursdays, along with 2 or 3 other popular shows. Anyone remember the others?

I know 2 for sure, but I thought that there were 4 in a row that were big rating shows.

In order: Cosby, Family Ties, Cheers, Night Court and Hill St. Blues. If memory serves me correctly. I used to tape (Betamax) Thursday nights 8-11 due to work. I believe that was the last time NBC had a power lineup.

before Markie Post,.

I rmember that she had and absolutely INCREDIBLE rack!
