I've been couponing for a few years & I have a HUGE stockpile of "stuff" (not junk stuff we actually use). I can't remember the last time I have had to buy certain items (toilet paper, toothpaste, razors, mouthwash, razors, etc). I love to give my FREE stuff away to family/friends. Today I had a GREAT Target trip--Everytime I go to Target I try to walk out spending less than $10

I bought:

4 Tide Stain Release powder (26 oz each)
2 Always products (36 count each)
5 Colgate cavity protection toothpaste
1 Kids Neosporin to go
1 26 count Spongebob bandaids

TOTAL: $8.08

Saved $38.15 :) :)

Wondering how many of you are coupon "addicts" like me! I don't know whats worse my addiction to DISNEY or COUPONS :confused3:rotfl:

Isn't it great? I HATED grocery shopping!!! I just recently started couponing and it has made grocery shopping a lot more fun. It's like a game. My family is also happy that we now have food in the house. LOL!!!

Wow, that is fantastic! So walk me through how you got all that stuff for $8?? I try to use coupons but never do that great. I did "save" $40 according to my receipt by combining about $6 of coupons w/sales at the store but I don't know how to really work the system.

My couponing addiciton feeds my Disney addiction. I save money on food so I have more money for Disney.

Way to go on your awesome trip!!

I would love to know how this is done. I was just about to start couponing, and need to know your secrets!!!! LOL. We are a family of 6 and are now on 1 income.

WOOHOO Awesome Trip to Target...

I have been couponing for 6 months now...I LOVE IT...Right now I am living off my stockpile of FREE Laundry Detergant, Healthy and Beauty Products and so on. Right now I mainly only need to go to the store to get Bread, Milk, Yogurt...just your normal everday things thats harder for me to stockpile lol.

I will say DISNEY is a bit more of a better addiction than COUPONING...but I gotta do one to get the other LOL...**Coupon to get to Disney LOL**

I have been able to cut our grocery bill in half sometimes even 75% of what we used to spend.

Can you explain how you get the total so low?

We live in an area where NONE of the stores will double coupons.

Where do you find such high value coupons at?

1 26 count Spongebob bandaids SALE $1.63 HAD $1 TARGET Q

I did this by memory so its a little off. I know my tax was almost $3.00. I usually spend about an hour a week matching up coupons/deals. My 2 favorite websites are TotallyTarget.com & Afullcup.com! My 3 main stores are Target, CVS, & Rainbow. If I spend more than $10 at Target/CVS its not a good trip :) I LOVE CVS because of their ECB's I try to "roll" them on a weekly basis to get more FREE product & more ECB's. Target I always look for deals/unadvertised clearance & then match them up with my Q's.

If anyone has any questions just let me know! I love saving $$!

You answered my question. I have a bunch of Target coupons and I was wondering if I could combine them with manufacturer coupons! And it looks like you can! Great shopping!

Does anyone know if this will work at Target? Looking through the ad this morning, I see the $7 for the gillette fusion razors, a girl's razor or cartridges for either (cartridges are not $7). It says that if you buy two of these gillette products, you get a $5 gift card. I have a coupon that says if you buy a package of cartridges, you get a free razor. Would that coupon work toward the buy 2 get the $5 gift card? Hubby uses those cartridges, so where ever I purchase it, it won't matter. If I can get a $5 GC, I will go to Target to get it.

YEA!!! love coupons too!!!
i just went to target a little bit ago saved $149 spent $4.81!!!!!:woohoo:

I made sure i used target coupon and manu for each item i purchased. Got stocked up things for our trip card games for in the car, bandaids, noespoian, lots of socks.

oh and i got 3 $5 gift cards!!

Yep this will work! My sister did this twice today :) PLUS one of her cartridges had a $4 peelie q on it & the cashier pulled it off & let her use it.

WOW----great job :) I would love to see how you did it!!!!!!!!!:thumbsup2

I started couponing a few months ago and love it as well. I have really saved a lot of $$. It takes some planning and time, but worth it. My husband is amazed. I would Google coupon blogs and start from there alot of them give instructions on how to do it.

I know this isn't environmentally friendly, but it's budget friendly. The razors - especially Gilette are often on some sort of deal. Save your money and DON'T buy the refiill cartridges, just keep buying new razors. I have never paid more than $.50 for a razor pack with 2 cartridges. I have seen refill packs at Target for $25!!!!!!

It's my hubby. He was in PA for two weeks of classes and found himself a Steelers fusion razor. He will not give it up for anything. So I resign myself to buying cartridges.

I have three boys though, oldest is shaving and I assume the middle one will soon start. I'll be ahead of the game.

just wondering to the successful "couponers"...

Do you do a lot of price matching at the register? I am really limited to where I can shop. My options are Meijer, Walmart, Aldi and small town markets. I live rural with no CLOSE chains. I price match at the register a lot but often feel like I am putting the cashier WAY out of her way. Walmart has started asking to see prices in ads, so I always write down page numbers, and Meijer won't even match a price unless you give them the ad to keep - no they won't give it back.

Wondering if you have trouble with online coupons. Do the stores accept them without much hassle? I don't enjoy bartering with an impatient line behind me, a baby crying in the cart and a cashier rolling her eyes... how do you do this as a smooth operation. I always have my notepad and coupons in hand, but I know I can do better!
