Love has lost all meaning?

Love...that lovely four letter word.
Yeah...ITA...I see teens say it all the time...and as a senior this year I am getting to watch the stupidity of many of my classmates who are "IN LOVE" try and get into the same college as there bf/gf. Personally I think there dumb. Don't go to college b/c that's where your bf/gf goes...go to a school that you WANT to go to b/c you like it and it's beneficial to YOU.
As far as saying you love your friends/family...say it as much as you want b/c that is a different kind of love and you should say it...IE "Oh my god, (friends name) I just love you!" is fine. or saying "Hi Love how are you." that's fine too...but in a relationship seriously unless you have been out of your town and you have met many different people of the oppisite sex and actually taken time to go out with them and experience other peoples company....don't say you love them. it's lame.

completely disagree....
why should age have anything to do with knowing what love is.

like i said before, i don't think it can really lose meaning.
if you mean it in the moment when you say it, then it's real.
(even if you don't mean it the next minute)

sure some people say it when they don't mean it, but i'm not pessemistic enough to say that means it's lost all meaning.

You can fall out of romantic love. But, you would fall back into a platonic love, in my opinion.

You may not be in love with that person, but if they rocked your world enough for you to ever really mean the words "I love you" they've imprinted themselves on your heart, and even if you don't love them romantically, you would still love them in a different way.

i think some people throw it around too much. but, there are many different types of love
