I guess I'm having a good problem here recently. we are going back to disney in June and it is my fam of 4(DD7 and DS3) and my mom. still going back and forth on 1br or 2br (we normally get 1br for our fam of 4) as well as the multitude of optinos for where to stay.
my gut says to stay at BCV or BWV as I have a medical conference at beach club.
but I also am quite interested in 2 poly studios (attached) and the "new" factor at BLT and VGF with the beautiful rooms has me thinking that may be best.
I'm just rambling. HA
I will say that the BWV was a little more "run down" when we were there in october than we had at VGF, BLT and AKV. will i be disappointed with BCV? should I just do the renovated BWV? is Poly worth checking out and will they do attached studios for sure?
or do I bite the bullet on points and do the BLT or GFV who I know my mom would love

It is possible BCV will be undergoing remodel next June.

I would try something different. BWV is undergoing remodel now. So you could try it again in June. I think the idea of two studios at PVB would be fun. But since you are at a conference at BC it would mean you traveling back and forth each day for you.

I have to say our first stay was AKV Kidani then NLT, then Treehouses and i feel like I have spoiled us with the space and the 2 bathrooms.

I'm struggling with going back to an older generation DVC but we have booked a 1 bedroom at BWV for Easter so hopefully I will overcome my addiction to newer properties.

I may be biased, but I'd recommend trying OKW. For one thing, the size of the rooms in the 1 BR will spoil you. Also, I have to tell you our history with OKW. Before we joined DVC, we were given a special offer one trip to stay at OKW instead of POFQ. Not knowing OKW, we turned it down, but when we got to WDW, we drove through OKW, and decided we'd made the right choice-we just didn't like the "looks" of OKW. Fast forward a few years to us joining DVC and having a last minute extra day. The only resort available at that time was OKW, so we very begrudgingly stayed there. After that one night, DH announced that that was the ONLY resort he ever again wanted to stay at-he was so impressed with room sizes, parking, everything. I enjoyed it, too, much to my surprise. So give it a try-you may be surprised!

the only reason I hesitate with OKW and SSR(we own there too) is the ability to walk to the parks is sure nice

The Poly was really great from transportation standpoint. Could walk to TTC and take express monorail to MK or get right on Epcot monorail. Rooms are a nice size (compared to the BLT studio we had previously stated in) but might be a pain to get to and from your conference if you won't have a rental car.

Stick with a bw area hotel bc of the medical conference. It will be a pain to travel every day otherwise.

I would try the renovated BWV- it's close.

BCV may be in the process of being renovated. But your 7 yr old might love storm along bay, so that might be worth it.

I would go for BWV or BCV for the simple reason you have the med conf. in the area. Plus you will have proximity to 2 parks that would allow you meet up time easier with family after conf. over. Next choice, OKW for size of 1 and 2 beds. Plus not really that far to drive to conf. area, beyond that, no advice.
