Love duck - but not spicy foods

Yak & Yeti has a nice duck entree on the menu.

Duck with Anandapur Glaze - roasted half duckling, orange wasabi glaze, jasmine rice, stir-fried vegetables $22.99

But is the orange wasabi glaze very spicy ?
I can tolerate a tiny bit of 'heat' in my food. I am not a big Mexican food fan, but does the wasabi add alot of spice to the glaze?

I ate at Yak and Yeti twice on my recent trip and didn't find anything at all to have any heat to it. I'm not a spicy person, either. Like you, I can handle a little heat, but not much.

I would bet that the glaze on the duck is more on the sweet side and probably not spicy. I know some here on the Dis have tried the duck so I'm sure you'll find out soon enough! You can probably ask for the glaze on the side or skip it all together.

I had the duck at Yak and Yeti last October, but I don't care for sweet glazes so they put it in a little bowl on the side. The duck was crisp and delicious without the glaze.

We are looking forward to eating at Yak & Yeti.
Last time we were at WDW, 5 years ago, we saw Yak & Yeti being built.


We are going to do KTTK, then off to AK for some rides and dinner at Yak & Yeti. It will be hot, humid. mist likely rainy summer day, but.....
