Love Bugs Yet?

Anyone who went last September knows how horrible the 'love bugs' were. We were there around the 11th and they were everywhere. Wondering when they normally invade and has anyone that's been there lately seen them? In 2005 I didn't notice any and I'm hoping for another year like that!

It's too early for them yet, probably three more weeks, maybe four.

When we were there in May it was horrible . We tried laying out by the pool, & we were constantly swating them away.

DD hates bugs.
Doesn't matter if it's a cute little ladybug or a wasp, she doesn't care.

I don't think I've ever encounted the love bugs, and although I'd rather not, it's not me I'm worried about.

January?!?! I thought those pesky things were only there in the spring and around mid-late September?

Figures, now that I have a trip planned there in mid-January.
