Lotusphere 2006?

When in January is Lotusphere, where exactly is it held and will it affect park attendence and closings?

Lotusphere is the last full week of January (January 22-26). It is held primarily in the Dolphin, Swan, Yacht and Beach Club, and BoardWalk Conference Centers (in that order, in terms of heavily each facility is used), as well as some exterior space in front of the Swan and behind the Dolphin.

It has little to no impact on the park attendance. Every few years it will result in either MK or D-MGM closing an hour or two early.

Thanks for the reply. Is there anyway I can find out which parks will be closing early?

They usually announce it to convention guests just a few days beforehand. We can usually tell from the published park hours, available elsewhere on this site, though sometimes Disney didn't update them until closer to the convention.

We were there last year, and it didn't affect us at all. We are staying at the BWV this year, and i hope for the same!
