Lottery

I've just found out from my sales consultant today that I'll have to take part in the lottery . I'm heartbroken There is another couple who want the same location as us - Whitehall. I thought I would have been safe with a midweek wedding but apparently not

Any advice from anyone who's been through this?

I was more interested in the locations then the date - I would have been so upset if we would have gotten bumped from our locations. I guess you need to find out what is more important to you.

I was very upset that we lost our location but it if was just a matter of a day, I would have changed our wedding date. The Dance Hall was rented out by ESPN for 2 weeks. I would have either had to move the wedding up to the week of Thanksgiving or push it back to the week before Christmas. Both of which were too close to the holidays and weren't an option for us.
