Lotsof Pixie Dust at BLT!

Arrived yesterday morning for a one night stay before moving to Kidani in the morning. I had hoped to extend my BLT stay part of the trip for a few more nights, but sat on the waitlist for 9 months with no success. Upon check-in, I asked if there was any possibility of staying a few more days at BLT -- I will take any view and would be willing to change views. The CM was awesome and went to the reservation people, who tried what they could, but to no evail. However, he said that they would keep looking and let me know. I never heard back.

Just before leaving for dinner at Chef Mickey, I called the Contemporary front desk and spoke with Rob who not only extended our stay at BLT, but got us the rest of the week in the same room! No moving for us! I was so happy to unpack!

We are on the 12th floor in a 1br LV looking straight out onto the lake. It is so beautiful here. I am loving this resort so far. Being on the monorail and so close to MK is awesome. It was warm enough to swim today, but the weather is getting much colder, so I think our water time is going to be limited to the spa tub in the room for a few days.

I assume that they didn't cancel your AKV reservation and you didn't lose those points.

I was going to ask that question... what about a difference in point value? Is BLT LV more than what you had planned at Kidani? I'm guessing so. How did the points variance work out?

We stayed in a 2 bedroom lake view and it was great !

I believe they just switched my AKV room for the BLT room. I had to lay out an additional 12 points I think. Nothing major. I still have my AKV points.
