We were at WDW 9/26-10/2
A little background my DH & I had a Disney Fairytale VR/Wedding
in July of 2005. My mom was in the hospital for 16 months and could not attend. I promised her when she got better we would take her to WDW.
The Dr.s did not think she would make it out of the hospital no less to WDW. But she did.
Every where we went CM's & guest alike talked to us & wished us a great trip.

When went to the MK on day one to get her a GAC- The CM's made mom a honor citizen of the MK & gave her a pin.
When we went to our rooms in moms room was a certificate- wishing her a magical vacation- pictures & a 2nd certificate one I never have seen before from the gang thanking her for coming to WDW.
We ate at CRT & our waitress one of the nicest people in the world gave mom a certificate claiming mom "Queen Madeline"
at MNSSHP mom was dressed as the Fairy godmother from Cinderella- Tons of characters from the parade stopped by & hugged mom or shook her hand(this was moms favorite part of the whole vacation)
Mom was given a Tinkerbelle pin from a CM- just because
Mom was given 2 other buttons I can't remember what they were.

The whole trip was magical for all three of us

I'm so glad to hear that you had such a magical trip. I'm even more glad to hear that your mother is doing better!

Wow, that put a smile on my face!:goodvibes So glad your mom is out of the hospital and that you got your wish of spending time with your mom at the most Magical of places!:wizard:

So glad you had a wonderful time and that your Mom got to spend it together with you. Sounds magical to begin with! And, I'm glad the Disney team was able to make it even more special and memorable.

Wow! Disney comes through again! :wizard: I am so glad that your Mom was better and able to go have this magical experience.

My GM had never been to WDW in all her 83 years, so we planned a trip for Nov 2004. GM was so excited that she was on her feet too much the day before leaving; she fell and broke her hip about 12 hours before we have left for Florida! She had a very difficult recovery with lots of complications and by Christmas we didn't know whether she would see the new year.

Slowly she regained strength and is even back in her own house. When she came into some money a few weeks ago, the first thing she said was "I'm treating us all to the trip we never got to take!"

So a little bit of frantic planning later, and we are leaving in 24 days! I hope she gets a little dusting of the magic you enjoyed with your Mom. Your story brought happy, hopeful tears to my eyes!
