lots of Magic band questions

We booked a trip using dvc rental points with 4 different reservations to get the nights we needed over a 9 day period.
All the reservations show up in our MDE account.
We ordered one set of magic bands with the first night listed.
It gave the option next to each check in day to order magic bands.
I assume the first set of magic bands can be reused at each resort?
Do they reset it at each check-in day to accommodate opening the room doors?
Will changing resorts 4 times have any effect on fastpasses?

Yes. All of your magic bands will for this trip or future trips will have the same information encoded on them - an identifier that links the band to your MDE account. The account is where the information like the dates of your stays at each resort is kept. So, yes, any of the bands will open the appropriate resort room doors once your stay at that resort has begun.

A magic band doesn't "Have" anything on it per se. Your credit card, reservations, fastpasses, etc all live in MDE, and the magic band works like a QR code and just allows whatever device is reading it to connect to your MDE account.

You can either decline the magic bands for the other stays or order new ones for other stays so that you each have multiple colors! If you don’t specifically select to decline you will be sent gray magic bands for all 3 of your other stays! Each band you get no matter what stay will have the exact same info on it which is only a link to your online account. It doesn’t actually store specific data like your room.
