:thumbsup2

Just got back from 6 days in WDW and 13 in Florida and was on the DDP for the first time. We are a family of 5 and I haven't added the reciepts up yet but wow the food was great (tried new places this time) and it was alot of food. We had left over snacks so the kids on the last day used them in the Goody store in DMGM. Anything under $4.00 the lady said they could have. They bought suckers, cinderella slipper with little sour candy in them, mints in a tin, etc.....
We ate at:
Epcot: Coral Reef, outstanding never been here before was not disappointed and was glad didn't change my mind. With all the negative things about it I was nervous but stuck it out and was so glad. I would rate this restaurant way up there. The atmosphere was just breathtaking and we were seated on the second tier. Saw the aquarium perfect.:wizard:
MK day 1: Opened MK and headed to the main street bakery, had muffins and apple charlotte and banana nut loaf. Was great as always and will do this again for a quick breakfast. Lunch: Cosmic Rays again and was great as always and the topping bar was too. Here the gentlemen let my daughter who was a child have a hamburger that wasn't on the DP due to his own words "It doesn't matter with the CS credits just the TS" So she was happy. My other DS had the hot dog and was fine but he allowed him to have the peanut butter cake instead of the jello. No questions asked. Supper: Was for the first time HDDR. This dinner and show was just fabulous and fantastic. The food I wasn't keen on but the show and the dessert was the best of it all and my oldest son was pulled up on stage and was the cowboy for the show. He got a certificate and was so happy. My youngest DS was laughing so hard and it was so nice but cold in there. Bought the picture of us and we now have it in the living room in a 2007 frame from WDW.
DMGM: DH and I got the 24 hrs flu and I tried to take the kids to DMGM for the day and was sick there 3 times and the kids said take us back mom you are sick (DH stayed at the hotel for the day). So before we left I got the kids stuff from Pizzaplanet and it was decent sizes and they got pizza with salad and drink and dessert. Can't remember what the dessert was right now.
MKday2: Dh and I were a little better except DD got the flu today. Did CM (did this last time too) didn't eat alot due to sick the day but the food is always good here. Saw Mickey,Minnie,Pluto,Goofy and Donald. DD didn't eat anything except water. Then headed to MK did the second half of the park and for supper had Pecos bills. Here they wouldn't let the kids order anything but the kids menu. They ate the chicken pieces (sick), carrots and grapes were good the celery was dead and the applesauce is  If I had known I would of ended up back at Cosmic Rays and got what they wanted.
AK/DMGM: Ate nothing at AK but got backlot express at DMGM and was great. Had heard about this place on the board and it was everything you all said. The food was great and it was a nice cool place to sit and eat.
DTD: We tried Earl of Sandwiches and this place is at the top with Coral Reef. The sandwiches were just fantastic and the cup cakes were out of this world.

Missed this trip: DOLE WHIPS due to the sickness, didn't have the chance to try the norway bread, the egg rolls in China(by the way no cart outside the lotus blossum), carrot cake main street bakery,Tusker House,Lecellier,Rose and Crown.

Any questions on any of the places let me know:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I'll do another thread after I add my reciepts up to see if I saved money on the DDP.

Thanks for sharing. It's miserable being sick at WDW!! And totally agree about the HDR being cold - we had to wrap napkins around dd last year because it was so cold in there. But we love the show so we'll be back (with sweaters).

Thanks for sharing your dining with us!

Sorry you were sick. Last time we were there (2001) I got the tummy bug too. No fun at all. Glad it didn't ruin your vacation though!
