08/18 - Damon Lindelof on new cast member Michelle Rodriguez: "We know she was sitting in the tail section of the plane, so we know that there was at least one other survivor of the crash who's been out there leading this sort of Tom Hanks-ian castaway existence by herself. [...] But I think people are really compelled to see what's been going on with her for the last 45 days. She's had her whole own second show going on, we just weren't watching it. So, when she joins the cast, she has two backstories: (1) everything that happened pre-crash, and (2) everything that happened between the crash and when we meet her. We're gonna tell that story in one awesome concept episode. I'm not gonna tell you when, but we haven't talked about it with anyone before you, so that'll be pretty kick-***." 08/18 - Yoon-jin Kim noted that Sun and Jin would still not be reunited by 2.2. Emilie de Ravin said Claire and Charlie are not making out by 2.2, and she doesn't yet know if a romance will develop between the two. Naveen Andrews confirms that Shannon and Sayid characters are still a couple as of 2.2. Lindelof says what lies beneath The Hatch will be explored in 2.1 and 2.2, but "What's really down there" won't become entirely clear to the survivors or the viewers until 2.3. Thanks again for the great spoilers. I hope Rose's husband will be alive too. It should make for an interesting season. I just hope I can last another month until it's on :bitelip:

08/27 - Kate will enter the hatch with the help of Locke who'll secure her with ropes. Eventually, the rope system will break and Kate will fall in the hatch... Source: OceanicFlight815.com [Note: This website has recently been revamped with a connect-the-dots game that displays clips, pictures, and sounds from Season 1. However, you can see a clip of that scene with Kate and Locke. Go HERE (here's the link: http://www.livejournal.com/users/theizzy/142972.html) to learn how to see the clip and play the game.]
08/25 - Jack's wife, Sarah (Julie Bowen), returns in the premiere, as does his father. Source: TV Guide (Printed edition)
08/25 - At long last, you'll find out what's inside the hatch, as will the three survivors who venture inside. "We made a bold choice," says executive producer Carlton Cuse. "It's something we ourselves felt was cool." Not to mention freaky and thrilling. As for the guys on the raft? "Those who survived are seperated from the main group for the first third of the season," reveals executive producer Damon Lindelof. So not everyone survived? Lindelof won't say -- he's more willing to discuss who's coming than going. Jack's wife, Sarah (Julie Bowen), returns in the premiere, as does his father. And at least two actors - Michelle Rodriguez and Oz's Adewale Akinnyoye-Agbaje - join the cast. Rodriguez reprises her role as Ana-Lucia, a passenger who crossed paths with Jack in the Season 1 finale. Her arrival on the island will turn the Jack-Kate-Sawyer triangle into "a romantic trapezoid," Lindelof says. Akinnuoye-Agbaje will play Emeka, a Nigerian character living on the island. Hmmm... might he know something about that Beech-craft plane full of heroin and the bones of Nigerian drug smugglers? Source: TV Guide (Printed edition)
08/23 - Cynthia Watros will play a newcomer to the island who, in her former life, was a therapist. More layers to her character will be revealed as the season goes on. Watros joins other recent cast additions to "Lost," including Michelle Rodriguez, who joins the second season as Ana-Lucia Cortez, another passenger on doomed Oceanic Airlines flight 815. Also, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje was recently added as the mysterious character Emeka, who suddenly appears on the island. Source: Variety
08/22 - There are more new characters coming aboard. Two series regular are leaving the show this season that I know of. Source: Kristin on E!Online
08/22 - Soap-grad Cynthia Watros is joining the cast of Lost this season as Libby, a mysterious character who may or may not have been in the tail section of Oceanic Flight 815 when it crashed last fall. Source: TV Guide Online

For everyone w/ DirecTV:

On channel 101, they've been showing sneak peeks of all of the networks fall seasons. This week is ABC. I'm watching it right now & it started off with "everything you need to know about LOST in 22 minutes". It's a nice little re-cap.

Hey Bengalbelle are you out there, post and let us know how you are.

Check in when you can BengalBelle, we miss our ringleader

Heads up: Lost is on early tonight for those in the west

I was reading the thread asking about missing DIS'ers due to the hurricane, and I believe someone said Bengelbelle was okay. I'm assuming she doesn't have power and that's why she hasn't been posting.

*** I just read the thread again. It was confirmed by Tarmand and TXTink that she is okay. Good news :sunny: ****

I hoped that was the case. Seeing all of these horrible images just made me worry about her.

Hi everyone!

Thanks so much for the concern and well wishes. We've been without cable service (we have cable internet) so I've been unable to get online.

We made it through the storm OK, just minor damage. We were very lucky.
