LOST....*WARNING* Future Spoilers

From Fiona_Lane: I just read the message board, and now they are saying no one gets killed off on Lost. Please tell me who's right and who's wrong.
I swear to you, I'm right that a female is getting killed off, and I can tell you that the death is not at the hands (tentacles?) of the monster. Yeee!

From shelby7348: You just said that a female is getting killed off of Lost. Well, is it a lead female?
You know her well.

From grygazol: Let me guess...the monster's a she and that's who gets killed off, right?
Ha! No. Geez, you guys really think I'm tricky, don't you?

From Nellygirl: Do you know what's in the hatch? Please tell me we find out early on.
From Damon Lindelof himself: "What's in the hatch is so intense/cool/complicated that it actually takes three full episodes to fully understand it. Fortunately, these are the first three episodes of the show, so the wait is over!"

PLEASE bring on the spoilers!! i am DYING HERE!! this is cruel and unusual punishment for shows to go off the air for a season!!

From ralph: Please! I don't think I can stand the wait till the Lost premiere. When is it, and what do you have?
Forty-five days and counting! (Sept. 21 is the premiere.) And I'm Hawaii-bound next week for the Lost DVD Launch party to get you some scoop from deep, deep in the jungle. Whee! So hang tight. And please, send me Q's!

From picabo: Could you pinch Sawyers *** for me when you're in Hawaii?
Um, I don't think so. He's married, and that would be highly inappropriate. I'm going in for a little tongue.

From bambilvr: Did you tell Dominic Monaghan we were all pushing for him for the Emmys?!
Yes, and he was of course modest as can be, saying he wasn't expecting it and was thrilled for Naveen and Terry. He just said, "Hey, you know, there's always next year." Hear that, Emmy?! I also asked him what he can tell us about the new season, and he said: "Charlie and Locke are going to reexplore their relationship. They kinda started doin' that in the early part of the show. Locke kinda became Charlie's mentor a little bit.

"And I think Charlie's obviously gonna be struggling with the fact that there's now heroin on the island, and kind of a huge supply of heroin, so he has to deal with those demons. Also, the baby's gonna play a big part in his life, as is Claire. So, Charlie's gonna start to actually contribute to the group a little bit more, I think."

From Becky: ABC is skipping Lost episodes! How can we contact the execs about this bad idea?
They're doing the best they can with the allotted time (there isn't enough hiatus time to air the entire season). But luckily, the DVD will come out Sept. 6, and you know I'll have some copies to give away...in plenty of time for the premiere.

From helen: At the ABC party, did Jorge say anything about him getting a love interest this season?
He knows you guys are pulling for him! "I don't know," J.G. told me when I asked if he'd get some lovin' this season. "There's an online petition for it, so we'll see what happens, you know. We know they're gonna find more people on the island, so hopefully the pool will get bigger and bigger and there will be more chances!" He also had this to say of the premiere: "I read episode one of the second season, and it's fantastic. It's really good, and there's so much. They go right in with the creepy Twilight Zoneness and everything. It's all about goin' down that hole." Go, Alice, go!

From ex: What's this about a girl not being killed/written off Lost? I thought we had girl confirmation?
I do. Who doesn't?

From marystat: What about Damon Lindelof's comment about saying it would be silly to kill off a female as they only got three or four of them? This is a spoiler I got from a board--not sure about the source, sorry.
All I can tell you is that I truly believe a female will go.

From lovingthefunkes: We're starting the Kristin Veitch drinking game! Take a shot every time someone asks about a Lost death. How 'bout it? Cheers!
Ha! Love it! But your liver just screamed in terror.

08/05 - "It's on the level, of like, Locke in a wheelchair," Jorge Garcia (Hurley) says. "The great thing about it is you learn a little bit about what's in the hatch, and as you go through the first few episodes, more comes together, and you realize that it's a much more significant thing than it was at the start of the show." According to Dominic Monaghan (Charlie), we won't miss a beat. "I think between the end of the first season and the start of the second there's about 35 seconds," he said. "So, you're right in the midst of this action." Source: Kristin on E!Online

08/05 - Maggie Grace (Shannon): "We're going to find out what's in the hatch quite early in the season — in the first episode, actually. We're also going to find out more about Jack's marriage, and some of Shannon's backstory as well. We have a few clues — she was married, highly manipulative, that sort of stuff. And it's a possibility that Ian might come back for that [backstory]." Source: Kristin on E!Online
08/03 - Lindelof says: "I think it would be fairly silly for us to kill a woman — there's only three or four of them on the show." Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide

08/09 - This season, Jack's mistrust of Locke will grow, as he continues to question his motives and obsession in uncovering the secrets of the mysterious hatch. The fates of Sawyer, Michael and Jin will be revealed after their raft was blown out of the water by "The Others" - who at the end of last season kidnapped Michael's son, Walt. Sun will become less dependent on husband Jin and more autonomous, as she wonders whether he is still alive. Kate's back-story life as a fugitive will continue to be explored. Charlie will become even closer with Claire and her baby, Aaron, but the stash of drugs he found in a statue could seduce him back to a dark life of addiction. The cursed numbers that turned Hurley's life upside down before the crash will continue to haunt him as he begins to uncover their meaning. Shannon will decide where Sayid fits in her life while she continues to grieve over the death of her brother, Boone, and develops a growing sense of unease about the raft passengers and their fate. 08/10 - From writer Javier Grillo-Marxuach: Danielle has been on the island 16 years, despite the fact that the translated French message is inconsistent on the "iterations". No nanobots, despite the tongue in cheek comments at Comic-Con. Rose is definitely coming back for S2. The "two plane" theory is WRONG - there is one plane, at least only one oceanic 815! Source: The Fuselage (Thanks E Buccieri for transcribing!)
08/10 - Damon Lindelof: "Right out of the gate in the season premiere, the numbers become a driving and fundamental plot point of the second season. We plan to answer this season via flashback: Who is the woman Jack married? (Look for this to be addressed early on, since Julie Bowen flew to Hawaii last week to shoot an episode). How did Locke become wheelchair-bound? What exactly did Kate do to become one of America's Most Wanted? What was Hurley's prelottery existence like?" Also, Lindelof says that the mystery surrounding the crash of Oceanic Flight 815 — which was originally going to be solved in a minimovie on the first-season DVD — will be resolved this season. "By the finale of Season 2," he says, "you will know why the plane crashed." "We're not stupid," exec producer Carlton Cuse says of the looming triangle. "There's clearly chemistry between [Michelle and Matthew Fox]. Their [airport encounter] was not accidental." Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide

I said it before....I think Claire is going to die...leaving Charlie to care for the baby.
