That girl from the airport is Michelle Rodriguez. She has been in a bunch of high-profile movies that are pretty recent, like Blue Crush, Fast and the Furious, Resident Evil (ok, not so high-profile there), SWAT, etc. so I don't see them using her as a one-off character only. I agree we will see her again. She was very cute & sassy last night. I kept expecting Jack to lay her out for her bluntness, but I think she was good for him.

I, too, will be mad if something happens to Jin. I love Jin. It worries me, though, because they asked the actor about it and he said he will be learning English and speaking it, and making all kinds of friends, that Michael would be his new best friend. That just sounds WAY too upbeat for this show, could he have been throwing us off? (After a brief vacation, paranoia returns!) ETA: Of course, he could be making friends on the new island, and he will use the Sun's book to learn English. Wouldn't it be funny if Sawyer hooks up with Michelle Rodriguez in the mean time? Then it could start Jack & Sawyer up again!

I like Bengalbelle's theory about the baby being the missing castmember. Sorry, but I am not attached to it yet, it is going to be hard to work a baby into all their storylines, etc.

If so, I just hope they don't do like soap operas and when the baby returns next season it'll be 15 years old.

I don't know how Ethan would fit into that but there could be an explanation. I just feel like he must be an other since he kidnapped Claire (for her baby) and tried to kill Charlie.

Maybe Ethan was part of the "others" at one point but somehow left them and moved on (on his own or with other previous survivors). He could be an outcast or maybe he's just a crazy guy from that heroin plane.

But, the last scene where they go back to the smoke, there's something in the left hand corner of the screen (bottom) near the smoke. Some think it's an older, native type man with a spear. Other people think it's a roof or something. I'll post a pic when I get back.

Does anyone remember seeing Jin in any of the preview shots???? We know Sawyer and Michael make it back to the island....but does Jin??? I'd sure hate to loose him (well, I don't want to loose any of our main characters).

How do you know Michael and Sawyer make it back to the island? I know the previews made it sort of look that way, so I paused the tape and forwarded frame by frame through the previews. Of course I didn't have a clear picture, but I couldn't see anything that proved they were back on the island.

When that raft took off I had this sad feeling that things would never be the same again. Kind of hard to explain, but did anyone else feel sad/weird like that?

It's on the picture you posted with the black smoke. Look to the left, on the bottom. After looking at it again I'm not so sure it's a person. It looks more like a something than a someone.
