Because what we heard on the original episode & what we are hearing on the commerical is not the same. Wonder if the writers of Lost caught some sort problem with what was originally aired and had to change it so some how fit with a future episode. Because like someone else said, during the commerical the responding voice on the radio was very clear and it seemed to emphasis we are the survivors of oceanie flight 815.
I totally agree.

This one had me laughing, since most of use think it is Locke anyway, Kristin is just confirming it. Come on "lock me up" :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Sounds good to me :)!

Well, heidica, I was going to link you to the chat transcripts, but I see Kristen didn't put that question/answer in her transcripts. I cut and pasted directly from the chat so I didn't make it up - cross my heart :) .

I also see she changed some answers to questions so I'm not really sure what to say about that :confused3 .

Latest from Spoilerfix:

04/11 - ABC invites new and avid "Lost" viewers to take a fresh look at one of this season's most talked about shows. "Lost: The Journey" promises to explore the series in a way that will bring new viewers up to date -- but which current viewers will also find illuminating. From the back stories of some of the most interesting characters on television to the mysteries of the island, "Lost: The Journey" will provide an insightful glimpse at the lives of some of the survivors of the doomed Oceanic Airlines flight 815. Narrated in a linear fashion and culminating from the pieces of the back stories told over multiple episodes in the series, "Lost: The Journey" focuses on the flashbacks of a core of characters, illustrating who they were and what they were doing before the crash. In addition, the island itself will be explored - culled from events that have taken place - which may reveal some of its secrets. Source: ABC
03/19 - ABC will air a one-hour "introductory guide" to Lost. The special is designed to help new viewers catch up on the series' sometimes dense mythology as well as act as a refresher course for regular fans. The "Lost" special, set to air on Wednesday, April 27 at 8:00/7:00c (the show's regular time period), will focus on the characters of Jack (Matthew Fox), Kate (Evangeline Lilly), Locke (Terry O'Quinn), Sawyer (Josh Holloway) and Charlie (Dominic Monaghan) and retell their respective backstories in a linear fashion. It's unclear however how the clips will be introduced and if the hour will include any "behind-the-scenes"-type footage. Source: TheFutonCritic

Thanks for the thought though. :) Wonder if Kristin's source is giving out confusing information on purpose (to keep us on our toes) or it is just an honest mistake because it is so hard to keep track of everything. Of course we will all be interested to see what this all means.

I think some of it may be confusing info., and I think sometimes she goes too far with what she's given (for example, the timing of the death).
Another example: She posted something about Jack in one of her chat transcripts, then several days later she removed it with no explanation. I don't remember what it was, but if alliecats is reading this she might remember.

Does anyone know if the final episodes will answer why the plane was so off course? And what the official status of the plane is? :confused3

I think that the final episodes may answer quite a few questions but then again it will also raise many more. A month or so ago I heard someone from the show on a radio interview and they said there is not one answer to the mysteries on the island and when we do learn some answers it may/will (I can't remember exactly) raise more questions. He also indicated that there would be closure on some things by the season finale.

However how one person defines closure isn't exactly equal to how
someone else may define it.

When I was watching some previews for an upcoming episode it was playing audio of what I remember to be Boone using the drug plane's radio to try and get help. He was saying something like "help, we are the survivors of flight 815..." and I heard what I thought was the response say "WE are the survivors of flight 815" in a different voice. Did anyone else see or here this? It made me think that there are perhaps other flight 815 survivors out there? :confused3

Renee - here is a copy of my post talking about the same thing. It is has been heavly discussed over on the other Lost post http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=8266176#post8266176
We can't seem to figure out what is going on, but everyone is pretty much agreeing that what originally aired and what is playing on the previews is not the same.

I think what happened was this:

on the original airdate, the transmission said "there were no survivors..."

But then, the Lost people got wind that fans had heard "we're the survivors...." and that seemed even more interesting and mysterious. They liked the idea, so they made the new commercial with the new recording.

:rotfl:

Thank you for the link HeidiCA... I guess Im a little slow.....

No problem Poohgirl :flower: There is so much stuff to keep track of when it comes to this show. Sometimes, after being gone awhile from the computer, I will come back and have pages and pages of post to read to try and get caught up. Oh well, I enjoy it and for me reading this Lost discussion is a way to have Lost entertainment throughout the whole week, instead of just Wed.

I agree with you! I think they are scanning the discussion boards to come up with ideas for future seasons.

Maybe that's what they meant when they said that Locke's future is in our hands.

New spoiler from Ausiello:

Question: I know you've got more Lost dirt. Spill it! — Connye

Ausiello: ****, you got me. The indie film actress guest-starring in Lost's season finale is Girlfight's Michelle Rodriguez. Oops, spoiler alert!

Question: So you said the whacked Lost cast member took the news of his firing very badly (Ask Ausiello 4/6). But nothing I'm reading seems to indicate Ian Somerhalder's all that upset. What's the deal? — Jim

Ausiello: The deal is you need to pick up the new issue of TV Guide magazine to read my colleague Shawna Malcom's juicy Q&A with Somerhalder. In it, he reveals why he stormed off the set immediately after shooting his croak scene and expresses disappointment with the story in general. For a preview of the interview, click here .

TELL SHANNON WHAT?!?!?

I can't believe J.J. Abrams killed off Boone! OK, with that out of my system, let's get to the big news of the day: Lost's dearly departed castaway, Ian Somerhalder, is already plotting his ABC comeback. According to Variety, the network has signed the actor to a one-year talent holding deal that calls for him to star in a series next year. And if that doesn't take the sting out of his recent, high-profile job loss, Somerhalder has also been cast in The Breed, an indie feature set on — you're not going to believe this — a mysterious island teeming with wild, ferociously intelligent dogs. I said you wouldn't believe it. Seriously, I did. Just read the previous sentence. It's right there.

You are the master of spoilage, Dawn. We bow to your greatness!

:worship:

NO! There are going to be alot more killed off the show???? Oh boy. If they do that, they better end the show after a few seasons. I sure hope they don't bring in all new actors/characters and kill off all the original. I will NOT be happy.
