LOST....*WARNING* Future Spoilers

I believe the preview we saw with Jin speaking English will be a flashback to something in Korea. Just my opinion.

The only real spoiler I have that you may have also seen:
Cynthia Watros, who played crazy Annie on Guiding Light and was the girlfriend on Titus, is also on the island. "Back of the plane" person.

I too believe that the man in the movie resembled Locke's father.

Maybe it is a miracle that Jin can speak English...like Locke being able to walk again. The island cured him. :teeth:

Except not speaking English isn't a disablity or disease...

We are talking miracles. If I woke up and could speak another language fluently, it would be a miracle.

I think we are going to find out that Jin is not who he seems to be. Everyone on the island has secrets.

If Jin does end up speaking English, I'll be pretty upset, because they went out of their way to convince us he didn't when they had us hearing from his point of view when Michael was accusing him of burning down the raft. They'll be rewriting history and I'll feel like I'm watching a daytime soap. There's nothing wrong with daytime soaps, I happen to watch DOOL myself, but I guess I expect more out of Lost to keep continuity.

Love this show and all of your ideas. I found my new home!!! ;-)

If you add those lottery numbers together it comes to 108. every 108 minutes they need to enter the code on the computer. I wonder if that has any meaning??

To me it seems like when the numbers are just lined out, they're bad, but when you add them together, they're good, but I'm not sure what that means :confused3

Whew! It took me a while to catch up!

I agree with whoever said they think Jin is not who we think he is. As soon as I saw him speaking English I had a bad vibe. I can't wait to see what happens on the next episode because Jin has been one of my favorites.

Whoever posted the Canadian version of the previews, please keep doing it!! I love that they have different previews there!

Episode 2.06: Abandoned

09/23 - The dude who died in that crash, who was on the bed next to Julie Bowen WAS named Rutherford... as you guys heard... which is of course Shannon and Boone's last name. It is Carlyle and not Rutherford.]
09/20 - Writer/Supervising producer Javier Grillo-Marxuach reveals: We are currently developing a back story for Shannon - kind of an "origin story" about how she became the kind of person that she is, and I think it's going to surprise a lot of people. 10/01 - The band [Hold Steady] has been written into the script of a future episode of the hit television show "Lost", which will air sometime in October. Source: Pitchfork Media
09/26 - Lindelof reveals: [Season 2 will cover] roughly the next 45 or 50 days. We’re sticking to the same brand of storytelling and not taking bold jumps forward. Probably by the end of season two we’ll be in the range of day 90. The issue of what made Flight 815 crash is going to be dealt with in season two and definitively answered by the end of season two. Source: SBC
09/20 - Writer/Supervising producer Javier Grillo-Marxuach reveals (note that this is not a summary of the spoilerish things he revealed): As secrets of the hatch become more and more apparent, they are going to have a profound effect on some of the key relationships on the show. We have some new survivors emerging from the other side of the island this year - and suffice it to say that they had it a little worse than the survivors we lived with last season. When the two camps meet, there is going to be a lot of shocking destiny at hand. We saw Ana-Lucia softer side in the season one finale, now we are going to show you a side of her that's going to be pretty stunning. Adewale Akinnouye-Agbaje as the Mr. Eko has a harrowing, haunting back story. When we crash him and Michelle's characters against our extant ensemble, it's going to be a pretty explosive collision. We have some other new characters up our sleeves - as well as few that you might have seen before in some very unexpected places who will return for a little more Lost action. I haven't caught up on the other thread yet (this one's my favorite ;) ) so I'm probably stating the obvious, but Walt saying the button is bad must refer to the computer button. Poor Locke keeps trying to do the right thing (I think) and keeps getting it wrong. I really need to watch the last 2 episodes again. I keep forgetting everything that happened.

Then, do you see where it says Economy Class?
We know that Ana-Lucia's seat is 42F, and that is what's flashing. If you click it, her seat turns green. Click that, and well, you'll see what I mean.

Gee thanks! I think I need to change my underwear now!!!!! I think I might have to stick to the other board, my heart can't take all this!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Woo Hoo!! Just saw three clips that are on AOL - well it shed a bit of light for me.
One of the clips was of Hurley in the pantry inside the hatch - he was eating crazy like, and that is when Jin showed up speaking perfect English. But there was also someone in a chicken suit, so I am thinking that this was a dream sequence for Hurley.
The other clips were both of goings on with our rafters on the other side. Not sure what the heck is going on there? But this Ana Lucia character is one bad customer - she was kicking a** and taking names!

I apologize if this has already been suggested, because I haven't read the entire thread. I was wondering if anyone has brought up the man that Hurley learned the numbers from? Now that we know people have had to live in that Hatch for years at a time, entering the same numbers every 108 minutes, that the man in the mental institution was probably one of those guinea pigs...

I also wanted to add, do you think the testing facility is really set up just to monitor human behavior? It has nothing to do with the 'end of the world', but rather to see if someone would actually keep inputting the numbers and what would happen when the fear took over? Oh, and did anyone notice the polar bears in the movie, and remember the polar bear from the first season???

Ana Lucia is a badass, and I'm loving it. I know Kate has a "past" but she and Jack are just too goodie-goodie for me. Ana Lucia and Sawyer should spice things up a bit ::yes::.

I will be pissed if Jin speaking English is a dream (Dallas, anyone  ) because I'm expecting something really good here. I'm kind of hoping he's naughty because the writers said not everyone is who they seem to be.

The chicken suit thing could be a flashback to the fast food chicken place Hurley worked at before winning the lottery.

I don't have AOL, is there any other way to see those previews?

I thought about him because didn't his wife say he was at some sort of "station"? He could have been part of the experiment. It seemed Desmond was getting a little loopy after being there for a while.

I'm also wondering if maybe Hurley was supposed to be the replacement for the hatch?? I know it's a little far-fetched, but someone on the other thread said he had told the snowman joke before (I don't remember that, though) and he's most closely connected to the numbers, it seems.

I still think Walt saying "don't push the button, the button is bad" refers to the computer in the hatch. I hope we see more of Walt soon. It would be interesting to see what he "knows" now.

Also, if the DHARMA symbol was really on the plane it will be interesting to see how this plays out. If y'all remember on the Oceanic.com website (when it first came out) there was something there that alluded to the fact that flight 815 actually landed in LA. Maybe our lostaways got on another plane unknowingly?

I'm not posting on the other thread much because there are so many people watching now and I can't really keep up with it. When I got back from WDW I had to read 33 pages to catch up so I'm glad to see a little discussion over here too.
