LOST....*WARNING* Future Spoilers

Ok, my husband just bought me this weeks TV Guide because it came with a Lost poster (and he know how crazy I am over Lost). One side of the poster has photos of everyone (including Boone) and the inside is a drawing of different things on the island. OK- two things and forgive me if they have been mentioned before. But on the poster it mentions that Kate's safety deposit box was number 815 and that pregnant Claire had a crucial appt at 8:15 on the day of the crash. I totally missed those connections. Also, on the inside of the magazine there is an article talking about all the season finales getting ready to air in May and for Lost it says "Co-creator Damon Lindelof says the show will end with a cliff-hanger that defies "the loyal audience to not tune in next season."" I do NOT like the sound of that! Does that mean they are going to do something that is really going to make us mad that we won't want to watch any more. Or does that mean that they will do something so unbelievable that only an emergency will keep us from watching next season?? :confused3

I think it means that they are daring the loyal viewers to NOT watch it next season, meaning that whatever happens is going to keep us so on the edge of our seats that we will not want to miss it.

I think it means they are killing off Sawyer. Gasp! I said it out loud!

OK, your interpretation makes me feel a little better (NOT the one about killing off Sawyer) but that we will be on the edge of our seats. When I first read that sentence, my first impression was they were going to do something that would upset loyal viewers and we would stop watching. Not sure why I thought that, but it had me a little spooked. One more week and we finally get some new ones. :cool1:

I know...I would be ticked as well but I think that's what they mean. That combined with the previous spoiler on someone being killed off that we would really be upset about leads me to conclude it's Sawyer.

Killing off Sawyer would mean killing a lot of their ratings numbers. I hope they realize that. I am not hot for Sawyer as many of you are, but his story arc is in no way ready to come to an end. Killing him off would be gimmicky..like a cheap grab for ratings to get the fans riled up. If they do cliffhang it with Sawyer in jeopardy, I will expect to see him back next year. Even if he is decapitated or disemboweled or something.
Gasp, Sawyer's been killed! Yeah, whatever, Lost, see ya in the fall.

Wait, wait! Sorry, I missed that. Someone else is getting killed off?

I haven't gotten over Boone yet.

This show is exhausting, isn't it?

Yup, someone else is getting killed off this season. They also said that there will be several of the original characters leaving the show in time to come.

I'm so worried that I'll be disappointed!! I sure hope not...but all these spoilers just don't sound good, do they? *sigh*

Wow, I missed all the good conversation earlier. That's what I get for cleaning house.
Anywhoo, here's the latest from Kristen's chat today:

From brini: Anything about Lost's storyline that you can share?
By accident, this morning back in L.A., I found out what I can only assume is the big season finale cliffhanger from a reliable source. I got chills to the point I was speechless. And I'm so not telling this one. It's beyond too good to spill.

From havealittlefaith: What's the point of having a spoiler chat if you don't give us spoilers? Don't rub it in that you know stuff about Lost and then not say anything!
I will spill what I can in the spoiler section. But please, Axl Rose begs of you, have a little patience.

From tvjunkie: Is Greg Grunberg back in the finale of Lost? How is his new show coming along? Will it be in the fall lineup?
He's shooting The Catch right now, and I hear it's going really well. We'll find out mid-May if it gets a fall pickup. He's also involved in a great Pediatric Epilepsy Project, and you can bid for guitars painted by celebrities by going to GuitarCenter.com and then clicking on "Charity Auction." The auction ends May 1.

From brandy: How about one little hint on the Lost cliffhanger?
Nope. It's that good. If I even talk about it, I'll piddle.

From randy: Is the raft really going to sail?
Yep. It really, really, is. They've shot scenes on it. And scenes out in the ocean.

From djwellz: Lost! Please, I'm a Kristin chat semi-virgin--any info will do.
Welcome! After one more Lost-less week, we'll finally get another look into Sayid's backstory, and his connection to the CIA. And on the island, we'll see Sayid and Shannon have something else in common: a desire to make Locke pay for what happened to Boone. Also, be prepared for Claire's psychic's predictions to come into play.

From havealittlefaith: Will anyone be sticking up for Locke?
Should anyone? Personally, I loves me some Locke, but he's looking more evil by the moment.

From rainbofly: Haha! North Shore, my tuchis! What did they all say about poor Booney?
They are all still mourning the loss. Good news, though: I hear we will see him again this season. In a flashback. At the airport. Word is, they're all in Los Angeles shooting right now. (Don't tell my boss who okayed my Hawaii trip.)

From beckgene: Did you find out any more about that radio transmission from Boone? It's still driving me crazy.
Here's what I can tell you: Do not believe the promos. Do not believe the closed-captioning. When I first saw that scene and heard that transmission, I thought they had said something else entirely, and I'm fairly certain what I thought I heard was right.

From francisco: Please, tell us, what did you think the voice on the radio said?
"We're the survivors of Flight 815." If you understand that, you just got chills.

From jennabul: So, how many people are we losing on Lost? I just want a number.
I think one for sure. And another is up in the air.

From girlwiredin: Any scoop on the background of Michelle Rodriguez's character?
I'm told she appears in flashbacks as someone who Matthew Fox befriended before getting on the plane.

From acerp: Please tell us something about Lost! It's late here in Portugal, and I was hoping to know something new. At least tell me Sun is safe--that she will return for season.
You get Lost in Portugal? Love it! And yes, I do believe Sun is safe, o minho amigo. Obrigada!

From havealittlefaith: Give us a clue about the cliffhanger--does it involve the hatch? A death? What?
It is a matter of life or death, and I'm assuming, a tearjerker. Okay, now we have to move on!
********************************************

If you don't know who Greg Grunberg is (I had to look him up) he's the pilot.

Honestly it sounds to me like the cliffhanger will be about something besides the death. I don't see the death being so good it will give her chills and it's way too good to talk about. We already know there's going to be a death and we're expecting it. JMO :) .

So maybe the woman that Sayid was in love with...the one he was supposed to kill, but helped to escape from prison...maybe she is the suicide bomber and killed a CIA agent that Kate was in love with (re:her little model airplane).

Maybe Kate was a CIA agent.
You get first prize!!! :worship:
... we'll finally get another look into Sayid's backstory, and his connection to the CIA.

If Sayid,Charlie or Sawyer is gone then I may be gone. But if Charlie's gone they would lose tons of female viewers(same with Sayid and Sawyer I think)

After watching Sawyer's backstory with the boar last week, I just can't think Locke is really evil. Anyone who could tell that story about his foster mother and the dog can't be all bad. I don't know why but that story always makes me cry. I think he is much more likely to be the type who considers the good of all (kind of like he is a god), and is willing to make sacrifices to attain or preserve that good. Jack is not the type to think that way--Jack could never make sacrifices for that end. Jack will try to preserve life at any cost, Locke has some other motive or plan that keeps him from seeing it the same way. I kind of see Locke as like a general in a war, willing to send some poor schmuck to his death in a hopeless charge, because he knows it has to be done. But that doesn't mean he's evil.
Of course, if he tries to sacrifice Claire's baby in the next little while, I may have to rethink this. :teeth:

Not only someone else (or two) getting killed but something about fans being VERY upset about who it is and that it may involve a failed contract renegotiation.

Wow! More spoilers! Thanks Bengalbelle

I'm even more convinced that Michael will die this season. Probably out at sea either saving Walt or at the hands of Walt. I'm thinking Sawyer's life will be at stake in the season finale with a to-be-continued on his status. Whether he lives or not will depend on the contract negotiation.

Someone is definitely coming for Claire's baby...don't know who...maybe Locke, maybe Rousseau, maybe more of wherever Ethan came from, maybe whatever is in the hatch.

I think there are absolutely other survivors from the plane on the island and I'm thinking the raft is going to land on whatever beach the remaining survivors are on.

I'm still fearing Sayid,Charlie or Sawyer will be the one.My thinking is that Sayid could easily go right back to movies as could Michael

I think it's Rousseau. One of the previous spoilers said something about Claire and/or other survivors to watch out for her.

I'm going to guess and say that's the season finale right there (some form of them meeting up with the other survivors).
