LOST Thread. Lots of theories on page 5!

His grave said 9/22/04. That's the day of the crash, and well, he obviously did not die that day. But since that's the date they put on the grave they must be telling the public he died in the crash. Which means he's not one of the 6 that came back alive.

I'm guessing he either died on the island (which will happen later in the series?), or he's being held their like the rest of them.

On another note, they say someone will die next week. People are saying it could be Micheal saving someone elses life and redeeming himself.

While it was on I knew the death date would mean something, but I couldn't read it. Good ideas.

:)

There's a website somewhere that shows a great theory about how the plane was meant to LAND on the island but Desmond's magnetic thing messed it up and it crashed instead. It's got a few holes but it's one of the best theories I've seen for a very long time. I'll try to dig up where I found it...

Is it the same site where it shows the episode summaries? Because I found that one not too long ago.

It's from the message boards on abc.com

Someone just explained it really really well.

But it's basically about how Ben had it scheduled that the plane would land on the island, but Desmond forgot to reset the magnetic thing and it crashed instead. The plane landing there was a secret from the Others so when it crashed he had to act surprised and sent Ethan and Goodwin to see which ones had survived. It's explains 'the list' and a few other things. And also it involved the 815 pilot (the one who died in the first episode). Lots of other stuff, I don't remember it all.
