Lost - Season Six (Spoilers Welcome)

It's one week from tonight!!!!! :cool1: :banana::woohoo::cheer2:

I can't wait. I'm so looking forward to it.

I just saw that last season's finale is on tonight. :thumbsup2

The plan for Lost this season is to rerun each episode just before the next episode is broadcast.

Hmmmm, I thought I'd subscribed to this thread, but looks like I didn't.

Since this is a spoiler thread, about.com mentioned this really weird spoiler about Ilana - it said that Ilana is Jacob's daughter. I'm not sure if I believe that one. Re-watching the finale last night and Jacob's visit to Ilana when she was in the hospital in Russia recovering from burns (I have no idea how she was injured - maybe that's something we'll find out this season??), it sounds like Ilana *IS* somebody special and Jacob may have had a premonition that the man in black was getting close to accomplishing his goal of killing Jacob, so Jacob asked for Ilana's help.

I can't wait until next week!:cool1:

Is Lost going to be running on Tuesday nights permanently now? If so, that is going to put it opposite American Idol. I loved when it was scheduled on Wednesday opposite the boot show for AI--I could switch over in the last minutes and see who was out without missing much, if any, Lost. If it is running opposite the AI performance show, guess I'll have to dig out the VCR tapes. . .no DVR in our household. :lmao:

I didnt realize the finale was on last night! Crap!! Well, I can watch it on Hulu. I had planned on doing that anyway, just to catch up before it starts next week!! I am so excited!!!

Since this is the spoiler thread I can let loose with a few things I can't say anywhere else. I have a Lost desk calender that my DW gave me for Christmas so I enjoy seing it every day when I get to work and looking at it. I has some pictures and on Wednesday's each week presents "Lost in Thought" which is something to ponder each week around themes and or questions not answered yet by the show. Through 27 days of the new year one thing is very apparent, there is no way they will ever answer all the questions they have presented, which in some ways is very diappointing. I cheated a little and read ahead and one of the questions posed was when the Others kidnapped Jack, Kate, and Sawyer to the other island so Jack would remove Ben's tumour at one point the stewardess from the plane came and saw Jack in the polar bear cage and Jack asked what she was doing there? She said we just came to watch. What the heck did that mean and will we ever get an answer as to what happened to her and the kids on the flight?

Another board I have been reading has spoilers that apperently lead them to believe that the first 9 or 10 episodes in season 6 will present an alternate reality that because of the detonation of the bomb Oceanic Flight 815 actually lands in LA and the passengers lives go on from there with no crash and no living on the island. The debate rages on how this could be because in a season of only 16 or 17 shows going that far off course would never allow the show to get back on track and answer all the questions. I prefer to think that the alternate reality is just half the story and we will also be presented with the Lostie's back on the island in 2007 dealing with the world they left behind when the whole time travel thing started.

I guess with it starting next Tuesday we will start getting our answers then.

can't wait till Tuesday! Watched the rerun of S5 finale and it was riveting!

Can't wait! I had heard the rumor of the 2 timelines as well. 2 alternate universes?

They were there to watch Juliet's trial. Juliet helped Jack free Kate & Sawyer during Ben's surgery and was made to stand trial. Cindy (the flight attendant) and the kids were on the way to the trial when she noticed Jack in the cage. She had interacted with him on Flight 815 so she knew who he was, even though she had never made it to the beach.

so does Jack "know" its different...?? or are they now going on the premise of not knowing about the island and going on with their lives with no changes...

I hate that idea...maybe if it was Season 2 or 3 but not now at the end with precious time to tell us what really happens.....:headache:

Just an FYI....

THere is now a (very poor) video of the first episode, L AX, posted or if you don't want THAT much info, there is also a 'recap/transcript' posted of L AX.

I'm VERY tempted.
